Scorose Pregnant

Chapter 6

Soon, everyone was there and the rest of the cousins wanted to play quidditch before we had to eat. I did too, I just thought it would be best for me to sit out to make sure I didn't harm the baby. James was utterly shocked and outraged that I wouldn't play or tell him why I wouldn't play.

"Rosie!" He cried. "You have to play! Or at least tell us why you won't! We're garbage without you!" This last comment received a few nods and a few objections.

"Sorry James. I'm just not in the mood to play."

He finally gave up and sulked off to his team. They mounted their broom and took off. The game lasted about an hour, James team losing to Teddy's.

We went inside to eat, and Scorpius arrived. The first -and only- time he had come was second year. Let's just say my dad and uncles were not too happy. They were even less happy to find out we were dating. I could only imagine their reaction when they found out I was having his child.

We ate and made small talk, mainly James pestering me about why I wouldn't play quidditch.

Finally it was time for family news. Scorpius and I stood up nervously. I took a deep breath as he squeezed my hand. "Alright everyone." I paused a moment before continuing. "Well, the news we have is that I'm pregnant!" I gave a small smile as a few uncles and cousins reacted in outrage. Oh, Scorpius was going to get an earful later.

Scorpius leaned towards me and whispered in my ear. "Do not leave me alone with them," causing me to laugh a little.

"It could be worse. At least my dad and Hugo already knew. Plus, James is the one you should worry about. Wait till I tell him this happened at his party." He laughed a little.

"I guess you're right. But I still would rather not be alone in a room full of your male relatives that just found out I got you pregnant at 17."

"Point taken. I guess I'll stay so you won't have to suffer."

"You're the best."

I looked up to see James talking and gesturing madly with my dad. Then I saw him coming towards us. If it was possible, Scorpius got even paler than normal.

"Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy!" Yep. James was mad. I cut him off before he finished that thought.

"James Sirius Potter! It was at your Halloween party that I got drunk and ended up in bed with him."

That shut him up pretty quick. He opened and closed his mouth a couple times, trying to figure out what to say. Then he turned around and sulked off to the corner. I bit my lip to control my laughter. Merlin's Beard, the hormones were already starting to effect my emotions.
