I was out in pool for a while and I just had this chapter all planned out in my head :'). It's going to be amazing. I'm still struggling with the next chapter though. I have to figure out a few things! Hope everyone's enjoying the first two chapters as much as I am! This is by far my favorite fan fic I've written I believe! Don't get me wrong, I love the other two, but this one is very easy for me to write!! xx.
I woke up early to the smell of breakfast cooking. Mom was cooking this morning? She never cooked breakfast! I jumped out of bed with a smile. I could tell without looking at myself that I was a hot mess. Wait, didn't my mom have work? My thoughts returned to the breakfast as the smells filled my small room. I pulled my blonde hair up into a truly messy bun, and I scampered down the stairs. I peered into the kitchen and saw Liam cooking breakfast. Wait...Liam. LIAM!
"Liam!" I shrieked running into the room as he turned and lock those big, brown puppy dog eyes on mine. He grinned setting his spatula down, and he ran over scooping me up into a huge bear hug. I breathed in his comforting smell and smiled.
"I cooked you some pancakes," he grinned happily running back over to the stove. I couldn't believe he was here! He came over biting his lip and handed me a plate piled with pancakes. He sat down across from me like this was normal...well it sort of was. If I'd been with the boys he'd be cooking every morning.
"Did you sleep well?" he asked taking a pancake from my pile. I pouted at him, but he only chuckled.
"I cooked them!" he exclaimed and I shrugged with a giggle.
"I had a nice sleep, it was dreamless," I replied happily, but I could see from his expression that Liam, did not understand.
"Since the...breakup...I've only been having dreams about him," I replied very softly, wincing as I spoke. I finished off the plate of pancakes and sat back groaning. Liam snatched up my plate, and took it over to the sink.
"I'm bloated now," I moaned as I squished my eyes shut. I felt Liam's hands on my waist as he picked me up.
"Come on! I saw the pool in your neighborhood!" he smiled at me and I sighed with a smile. How could I turn down Liam?
"Okay, let me go change, wait here," I replied tapping his nose. He scrunched up his face as I laughed. I literally ran up the stairs and slipped my suit on. Liam Payne. I should've expected him to come visit me. I opened my door and I ran right into Liam's bare chest.
"Oh, sorry Gabs," he laughed helping me stand up. I felt my heart thumping under my chest. But why? It was Liam. My older brother nearly! I shook my head and focused on his face.
"Well come on!" he hollared as he latched his fingers tightly around my arm. He pulled me out the door and down the sidewalk to the pool.
"Liam! Did you bring bodyguards?" I shrieked as we reached the pool. I sighed in relief seeing no one there.
"It's a weekday remember?" he smiled as he opened the gate. I winked at him as I walked in and laid out my towel. I didn't have to worry about Liam throwing me in the pool, thank God. He set his towel next to mine and smiled sweetly at me.
"After you," he gestured to the pool. I jokingly took a bow, then started my way in. I leaned up on the edge of the pool as Liam made his way in.
"It's cold!" he laughed as he made his way over to me. He rested his chin in his hands and looked at me.
"You seem happier," he whispered with a smile. I leaned over and rested my head against his shoulder.
"Of course I am, you make everything better Liam. I don't know why, but you do," I smiled at him to see his brown eyes twinkling.
***************
Liam wrapped his big hoodie around me as we sat around the fire. I felt like nothing was wrong; like nothing had ever happened. I let my head rest in Liam's lap as he sang softly.
"Hey, you want me to make you a s'more?" Liam asked excitedly and I smiled tiredly.
"Sure Liam," I whispered as he grabbed a marshmellow. I watched as he stuck it in the flames.
"Don't burn it," I whined and he chuckled quietly to himself.
"I won't," he replied resting his free hand gently on my shoulder. I let my eyes crawl up to look at him and he was smiling down at me.
"Stop being adorable," I moaned pushing his face. He laugh handed me a s'more.
"I swear, this is going to be heaven in your mouth," he warned as he pointed a finger at me. I sat back up in my chair and took a bite of the s'more. I looked at Liam and he looked anxious.
"It's amazing," I spoke seriously and he winked giving me a thumbs up.
"Glad I could be the one to make your tastebuds go crazy," he laughed and I sighed as I realized he'd be leaving soon.
"Liam, I don't want you to go home," I moaned and he frowned at me.
"It's like a five hour drive back to my place Gabs, I'm staying the night, didn't your mom tell you?" he grinned and I jumped up, suddenly hyper, and into his arms. He spun me around and set me down. We just smiled at each other for a few minutes until I felt my hand crawl to the back of his neck. He let his hands slide down to my waist and he smiled softly. I blinked quickly as I got lost in the brown of his eyes. He brought his hand up to brush some hair out of my face and before I knew it, his lips came crashing onto mine.
