From the deprived...Are you from the deprived?
Follow to know and then apply it on yourself.
The deprived is the one -
Who knows the time of Duha is from sunrise till Noon, approximately around 6 hours and he can't pray in it 2 rak'ahs of Duha prayers. It hardly takes few minutes and it's sadaqah for 360 joints in our body (this means you have rewards for every second that you pray.){For all those who don't know, Duha prayers include prayers called- Ishraq and Chasht. The correct view is that there is no specific maximum number for Duha prayer; rather a person may pray as many rak'ahs as he wants and minimum 2 Nafl rak'ahs.)
Muslim (720) narrated from the hadeeth of Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: "...and two rak'ahs offered in the forenoon (Duha) will suffice for that."
So the minimum for Duha prayer is two rak'ahs, because of this report.
Muslim (719) narrated that Mu'aadhah (may Allah have mercy on her) asked 'Aa'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her): How many (rak'ahs) did the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) pray in Duha? She said: Four rak'ahs, and however many more he wanted.
The report narrated by Umm Haani' (may Allah be pleased with her), according to which the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) entered her house on the day of the conquests of Makkah and prayed eight rak'ahs. (She said:) and I never saw any prayer that was more brief than it, although he bowed and prostrated perfectly.}
The truly deprived is the one -
Who knows that night is around 11 hours and he cannot pray 2 rak'ahs Qayamul Lail or Salatul Witr...which only takes few minutes.The deprived is the one -
Who knows that fasting voluntary days for Allah makes his face far away from the fire of hell 70 khareef or a moat, but he doesn't fast especially in winter when days are short.The truly deprived is the one -
Who knows that the day and night are 24 hours and he cannot read 1 Juz (1 Para) from the Qur'an, when it doesn't even take him 30 mins to complete it.{To prove the importance to do all the 4 mentioned things, here are the Ahadeeths:
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him that he said: the Messenger of Allah said: "The deeds (of mankind) are presented (to Allah) every Monday and Thursday, and I like that my deed be presented (to Allah) while I am fasting." [At-Tirmidhi and Classifies it as Hasan (Good)]
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him that he said: "My friend (The Prophet S.A.W.S) entrusted me with three things: To fast three days of every month, to offer the Duha two-rak'ah prayer (Forenoon prayer), and to offer Witr (prayer) before I go to bed." [Agreed upon]
