About five days later, I recieved a reply from him.
June 12th, 1955
Dear Anne,
Hm, Anne, Anne, Anne... yes, I think I remember you.
And, yes again, I know your mum. Well, I don't know her know her, but I know what she looks like. If that counts?
Checking up on me, are we? I'm fine. Believe it or not, I can take care of myself.
I would be more interesting but I don't know anything about you. Enlighten me, then we can talk more.
John Lennon
'Enlighten me'? I thought this was going to be short. You know: I write to him, he replies to me, the end. But I guess that isn't going to be the case.
Another thing is that I noticed he didn't say anything about his uncle. But that was something I wouldn't mention a second time; if he hadn't said anything, he obviously didn't want me too.
But that leaves me with one question: what all should I tell him about me?
