Chapter 1

Flashback

We left the party and went upstairs as soon as we found a empty bedroom Cesar already started kissing my lips not even letting me lock the door I tried to speak in between our kiss but I only manage to say his name after I broke our kiss I finally said a sentence
"You have to give me a second to lock it first so no one interrupt us" I locked the door and Cesar lifted me up by my waist and landed me on the bed with him on top and our lips connected again.
He moved to my neck which made me moan his name it seemed to turn him on in a second my shirt was removed and so was my pants he went back to my lips
"This is not fair" I said to him "you have way more clothes then I do" I gave him a smirk and started to remove his shirt and pants
After that night my whole life changed.

"Do you want to put this in the van" one of the moving guys asked

"Oh yes everything down here is going in the truck except for the stuff upstairs" I said to him

"Got it" and he went back to the other moving guys

"Mommy, mommy" My daughter called

"Yea carmy" and she pointed to her mouth indicating she was hungry

"Ok then let's get you some food" I picked her up and went into my bag I pulled out some crackers and  gave her, her sippy cup

"Ok Carmy I'm going to put some stuff in the car while you sit and finish eating. Ok " She nodded

"Good!" I put her down and started loading up the car with my stuff, my sisters stuff, and Carmen's stuff

We were on the road my sister was upfront driving for the first few hours then I sat in the front but I kept looking back at Carmen. then when we made some stops I switched places and went in the back with her leaving my sister by her self. I'm not a big fan of my sister she's always talking about gang stuff and how I'm going to be apart of it and I can't run away from it blah blah, but I don't want to and I don't want my baby to be a part of that even though her dad is but some times Frankie has her moments she comes up as a though chick but I'm the only that see her when she's nice

We arrive in freeridge and the moving van was already here and so was monse, monse was the only one that knew about Carmen since she's been calling me non stop when she went to camp something about the boys not answer her call

"Becca" Monse jumped on me

"Monse, oh my god I've miss you so much!" I exclaimed

"I've miss you too"

"How was camp" I asked her

"Camp was great, noticed anything new" she smiled
And I pretend to look at her looking like i don't know

"Oh I know you got boobs" monse gave me a face and I laughed "And you got your braces off now your looking like a snack, good luck trying to get the guys off of you" they laughed

"Enough about me, look at you. You got a ass and boobs" Monse pointed to My features

"That's mostly cause of her" I looked in her car to see. Carmen waking up

"Oh yea let me see her" monse said excited I took Carmen out of her car seat and handed her to monse.

"Can you bring her inside I'm gonna grab the stuff out of the car" I asked her

"Sure" she responded

Monse was playing with Carmen and she loved it, Carmen had already loved monse, I finished with Carmen's room and I was way to tired to do mine, so I joined them

"Hey guys" i walked in

"Mommy" Carmen says excited I sat down next to her

"Hey carmy"

"I can't believe this is actually yours and Cesar's kid. I can't believe you actually have a kid!" monse said and I chuckled

"Well believe it you've got living proof right i front of you" i Said

"So are you going to tell him" monse asked

"Tell who" I asked

"Cesar" monse said

"About what" I asked again

"What else could she be talking about" Frankie said out of nowhere and their heads looked at her

"Well she could be talking about me being back" i said 

"He needs to know that he has a kid" monse said

"HELL NO" I said and Carmen look at me "I mean no!"  Before the conversation could keep going I spoke before monse "I'm bored"

"Then let's walk around" Monse suggest "do you wanna go on walk" she cooed at Carmen
And Carmen smiled

"Ugh fine let me go change into my sneakers and got find your shoes" I looked at Carmen and she looked at me and smiled

Monse, Carmen, and I have been walking around for a while and then we heard someone yelling we looked over and saw Mario Ruby's older brother

"Angelica" We heard Mario yelled "Once I'm gone, I'm gone" he continued "there's not gonna be a Christmas break hookup. You know why, cause I'm going to be hooking with other chicks. White chicks" Mario said proudly "I don't know why I'm saying that it's you talk to me boo" Mario sounded desperate

I looked at Monse and nodded in disappointment then monse yelled across the street  "maybe she's not home" Mario turned to look at us

"Oh hey guys" I grabbed Carmen by the waist and crossed over the street with monse then I put her down " haven't seen you in a while, who's this?" Mario was referring to Carmen

"Oh this is my baby cousin my aunt left her so she's with us now" I said not wanting to tell him that I have a daughter and he seemed to believe it I'm pretty good liar

"What about you, how was camp" Mario asked monse

She made a face "tolerable, mildly life changing" She said

"I could see that" Mario said and I realized what he was talking about and tried not to laugh

"You can. How?" Monse asked and then looked at me wondering what's wrong with me things just got awkward as Mario tried to explain

"Look I-I probably have to go before traffic hits" Mario searched the back of his neck clearly uncomfortable

"No prob good luck at Cal"

"Thanks and can you guys do me a favor" Mario asked us

"Sure" we said

"Keep an eye on ruby don't know what that kid is going to do without me" we nodded accepting his request
