"A little bit of sunshine"

Kirino Ranmaru, despite of all the noises, remained walking still into his way back home. Taking a sip from his juice box he tilt his head as he heard the 'meows' of cats.

"There, there..."

He muttered while patting it's head remembering how close he and Shindou is, from their faraway childhood moments.

His best friend.

The lines of sun rays give waves to him as if it is a sign of a good day starting.

He lift up his fist and said courageously "I'm gonna do my best!"

With all his heart he announced what is yet to come, the confidence that set his eyes came glistening over and over.

"Oh hey Kirino!"

A familiar voice called out, making him turn his back  and gasp immediately at the sudden surprise. With his fist loosening it's tight grip.

"Shindou?"

He asked with furious blushes colouring his face. Nervous began to set shivers on him as if it's warning him to calm down.

"Kirino? Kirino?"

Shindou shook him but he looked away in embarassment.

"Am I being too close?"

Shindou questioned blushing just a little after assuring his distance.

"No no! I-i mean we're friends a-and s-so..."

Kirino couldn't finish off his statement when all the rush of his blood is just too much to bear.

'Thud, thud, thud,'

He can hear it so well.

The rain started to pour just a minute ago, they ran as if chasing the shed with hands lock together. Despite of that cold rain what he can feel right now is the hand with warmth so familiar to him.

"Maybe it's because I really do love you..."

Kirino blurted out, getting shindou's attention in the middle of their non-stop running.

"What did you just say bro?"

Shindou asked teasing the pink haired guy beside him, Kirino on the other hand averted her face from his view. The rain made their hairs wet as it grew stronger in time.

"Bro your shy now?"

Shindou teased him again in the middle of their run. Despite of that weather, the two of them are smiling so innocently a platonic love for Shindou yet a deep admiration for Kirino.

So disparate.

"That bro things hurts you know!"

Kirino mumbled while pouting against his will, he really is hurt though, being called bro when he want to be called his beloved.

They soon reach a shed and began talking like best friends, in that time together, taking the most of it.

As their time spent with laughs Shindou recalled what Kirino said to him.

"Maybe someday you'll be more than my bro..."

Shindou muttered to him.
