Doctor Herce gives me pills good for a week. He stays at Miguel's to continue his research though he's from Frill. He gives us advice on clothing, especially since it's already fall and Frill would be chilly.

"I hope you bring them to justice and you will regain what you've lost. You're a good girl, Sofia. God bless you, lass." Doctor Herce says, giving me a hug.

"Thank you, Doctor." I reply. A sudden thought comes to mind and I turn back to him. "Doctor? Shall we say hello from you to your family?"

Doctor Herce's eyes grow distant. "No. No family for me."

I nod quietly. "See you soon Doctor."

I head out to where the others wait. We decided to take a public plane. Hopefully things won't go wrong.

"May I have your boarding pass?"

I show the lady my boarding pass and she steps aside for me to walk into the plane.

I sit beside Odeo and Madelina. Gabby, Miguel, and Val sit behind us. Carlos and Cass stay behind with Doctor Herce to keep watch over things from the house and feed us with information.

"Hey."

I look into Odeo's beautiful blue eyes.

"Hi."

He smiles softly. "How're you feeling? I know things are terribly complicated and there's so much to do and get done with no sureness of results and-"

I smile and place a hand on his arm. "Odeo, I'm fine. Between the two of us, I think you're the one feeling nervous."

He chuckles. "I guess. I just don't want you to- you know."

Something inside feels tingly and I know it's because of him. Despite the hectic events the past weeks, he's always been there. So caring, so kind. I know we haven't talked much but-

"Sofia?"

"Yeah?"

"Are you busy tonight?"

He has a mischievous smile on his face and I can see that he's created a plan, a great idea. I decide to play along.

"Hm, no, not really. Why?" I ask, matching his smile.

"I'll pick you up at six o' clock tonight."

"Oh? And where shall we go?"

"You'll have to wait and see." He says with a wink.

I smile to myself and choose a movie to watch.

My head is on Miguel's shoulder as we watch the same movie. It's been so long since I felt like I could relax a little bit and enjoy the day with people I love. It's been a long while since I got to spend time with Miguel. These past few days were fun.

He moves and I sit up straight to look at him. He gives me a soft questioning look.

"What?" I ask, shifting in my seat and leaning into him again when he puts an arm around me.
