"The two biggest companies in the world have suffered from great losses today. Belle Corp. was the first to experience such a great loss. First, their factory was stopped, then their building in Contra was found to be on fire. Dax Inc. was the next to experience a sudden collapse of their building in Contra resulting to deaths and losses. We will update you with further news on this sudden and surprising turn of events."

Amber turns off the news and faces her group of administrators.

"It's time to send them out. Time is running short. Bring down every Dax Inc. Branch and then destroy the main one. Also, find out who did this to us. They don't have to reach me alive." Amber commands.

The administrators salute her as she walks out.

The academy is far from the city and no one should suspect their connection.

She calls her husband.

"We cannot lose everything. Hide all the data and backups. We leave for the safe house." She tells him.

"You got it love." He replies before ending the call.

~Gabe~

Mom gets up and talks to the doctor. He finally relents to whatever she demanded and she looks at me with a triumphant smile.

"We're going to Helen. All of us."

I don't argue with her. I help the nurses and doctor bring Miguel up. He stands on his own though he's still weak.

"Go on. Help Gabby." He whispers.

I help the nurses get Gabby onto a stretcher where they bring her to the helicopter we'll be using to get to Dapple.

Bethany arrives a few minutes after and in thirty minutes, we're up in the air and heading towards Dapple.

I pat the horse's muzzle and imagine my sister being here.

"Violet, right?" I ask Helen.

Helen nods. "Your sister connected with her right away."

I smile. "I hope they're okay."

"They are. They will be." Helen replies.

"I'm going to check on Carlos and what he found, okay? You can relax here." Helen says.

I turn my attention back to Violet. "I can see why my sister likes you. You seem to understand things I don't even need to say."

She snorts and starts nibbling my hair and I smile.

"Shall we go for a ride? It's been a while." I say to Violet, opening the door to her stall.

She whinnies with approval and I lead her out. I do the best I can with the saddle and reins but I feel like I got a few things wrong.

I pull myself onto Violet's back and she walks out. She seems to know I'm not used to being in control so she slowly walks out, letting me adjust.

I look around me and see the rich green trees and the clear blue sky.

A thought comes to mind.

"God? If You're up there, can you please help us figure this out? My friends pray a lot. I haven't really tried. So, could you help us? Sophia's birthday is coming up and I want this to be over before then. Can you help us?" I pray.
