Welcom to Remnent

David woke up feeling the sun on his face he slowly opened his eyes and sat up. He saw trees in all directions and realized he was in a Forest.
David: ghost...where are we?
Ghost came out of his head and said.
Ghost: I don't know...but it's a lot like Earth but less destroyed.
They looked around their surroundings they heard shuffling in the bushes behind the Davis readied his pistol and out came a solid black wolf like creature with bone like armor.
David: come at me bro.
The wolf charges at him and shoots it in the head.
David: well that was easy.
When he said that five more wolfs came out of the woods.
David:( sigh) every time! God I hate that.
David grabbed scathelocke and shot two wolves and grabbed Quick Fang and sliced the other three.
David: ghost, scan them.
Ghost: on it
Ghost scans the bodies and they started to disappear. Ghost came back an said.
Ghost: they are made of pure darkness.
David: like enemy of Traveler darkness or...
Ghost: almost. Though it is similar is some aspects its different in some others.
David: ok. Can you find what planet we are on.
Ghost: no i need to find some form tech to scan.
David: damn are there any near by towns.
Ghost: One mile west from here.
David: do u still have my sparrow.
Ghost spawned the sparrow and David climes on.
David: What the ETA.
Ghost: Eight o'clock PM.
David: good that way we won't draw an wanted attention.
After an hour they reached the outskirts of the town.
David: alright ghost let's go.
Ghost: right behind you
David goes walking through the town and come to a shop called ' From Dust Till Dawn'.
David: hum, interesting name.
David walks in the shop and sees the shop keeper.
Shop keeper: hello sir can I help you with anything?
David: no not at the moment.
SK: ok let me know if you need anything.
David: I will, thanks.
David walks over to some vials of different colors and said quitely.
David: ghost scan what you can.
Ghost: on it
Ghost came out and started to scan some of the stuff in the room and came back.
Ghost: ok this stuff is called "dust" it's basically their ingredient for weapons and energy and a hole lot of other stuff they use.
David: ok. Did you find anything info wise on this world?
Ghost: yes I'll tell you the data later now we have trouble.
David turns around and sees a man in white and five others in black robbing the shop.
Man in white: do you have any idea how hard it is to find a dust shop open this late.
Shop keep: please don't hurt me just take my lien and leave.
MIW: we're not here for your money. Grab the dust.
The other men go and start getting the dust from around the store and one approached David.
Robber: hands where I can see them and no funny business.
David: ok but what's that. ( points to other side of store)
The robber looks behind him and David grabs the gun the robber had and shot him in the gut the robber fell and David pulled out his pistol and aimed at the others.
David: stop right there all of you hand on your heads.
MIW: well well we have a hero here.
Suddenly a robber goes flying out a window and a girl with a large scythe she got up and spun the scythe around and turned off her headphones.
David: that's a large scythe.
David runs out the store and starts to fight the robbers. The man in white steps out and said.
MIW: well this has been an eventful evening but this (raises his cane and and the end opens up ) is where we part ways.
He shoots his can at the girl and David jumps in from of it and takes the hit for her. He is knocked back a little and gets up like nothing happened.
Red girl: oh my god are you ok.
David: yeah are you?
Red girl: yeah but he's getting away.
David looks back and sees the man climbing a ladder. David grabs the girl and boosts to the rooftop of the building.
David and red: stop right there.
MIW: persistent
Then a ship came out of nowhere and the man got in.
MIW: end of the line!
He throws a red crystal and it lands in front of us and he shoots it but a purple barrier formed in front of us we look up and see a women had put it up.
???: are you okay?
The women asked we nodded and and continued to fight the man but he got away. Red was star struck by her.
Red: your a huntress. Can I have your autograph?
The women was not amused and took us to an intaragasion room and me and red sat a the table in the middle.
Women: do you have any idea what you have done, you put the live of many in danger including yourselves.
Red: they started it!
Women: (sigh) if it were up to me you would go home with a pat on your back (red look happy) and a slap on the wrist. As she said that she slammed a horse whip on the table attempting to scare us red jumped and David just sat there like it was nothing.
Women: but there is someone who wants to see you.
The door opens and a man with gray hair and green suit walked is with a plate of cookies.
Man: Ruby Rose and you... Ruby you have silver eyes...
Ruby looks concerned and said thanks.
Man: do you know who I am?
David: not at all.
Ruby: your professor Ozpin headmaster of Beacon academy.
Ozpin: hello
Ruby: nice to meet you.
Ozpin: And you who are you.
He looked at David.
David: that is a need to know basis and you don't need to know.
The women stepped forward and was about to hit you but Ozpin stopes her.
David: but for now you can call me 'Ghost'.
Ozpin: ok... Ghost and ruby seeing your skills in combat how woul you like to join my school?
Ruby was ecstatic at this offer and automatically said yes and David thought about it for a bit.
David's Thoughts: ghost should I go?
Ghost: it would be best and maybe we can learn more about this world while we're there.
David: ok Ozpin I'm in.
Ozpin: splendid the ship will arrive tomorrow morning to get you for now have a great night.
Afterward David and ruby went their separate ways for the night David found a hotel and 'borrowed' a room for the night and went to sleep.
