City of Lost Souls is part of a series called The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare, this book being the second to last of the series or rather the fifth if the six books.
The whole series is centered around magical beings such as being called Shadowhunters that have angel blood with them that help kill demons and it's sort of tense with the vampires, the werewolves, the warlocks, and the fae(fairies but not what you think, not no Tinkerbell that's for sure).

It mostly focuses on one couple, but the others are quite amazing and just beautiful and I just can't really!! Everything about this series makes my heart warm as well as beat in excitement at the memories of fight scenes, as well as make me sadden for others.

I really recommend these books if you love reading, since the book can get quite thick at time, but I love it and I remember starving myself to read these books when I get home from school, that AMAZING!

City of Lost Souls is mostly my favorite because my problematic favorite, Sebastian Morgenstern, appears the most here and I like the interactions he has on the main cast of the series. It also has the most interesting dialogue as well as events that made my guy or heart wrench or my blood thrum in excitement. Truly an amazing series and read for anyone who loves action and fantasy, truly wonderful.
