Pt2 Mrs.Kidds Class

I realized the new girl was in my second period.I saw her laughing and playing sometimes with the people that don't like me.Oneday I walked into Mrs.Kidd.I just sat in the seat behind her she turned around and started talking to me, we had an amazing conversation. Than I had to go back to my seat the new girl is actually kinda cool I thought, she could actually be a real friend I thought to myself. So Mrs .Kidd the science teacher really nice but really short with blonde hair maybe to her shoulders, said we were going to be working on a project.

We had to make a car tie a balloon to it and see how far it would go.

So Mrs. Kidd went in the order of how our desks were asking who they wanted to work with the new girl was in the second desk.My fear of not being picked was going threw my mind cause people always picked people who they wanted to work with.Mrs. Kidd said groups of two, so that's what we did.The first person picked who she wanted to work with than my fear of being picked last and partnered up with a person that highly despised me was kicking in.She asked the new girl"Who would you like to work with? She pointed across the room and said that girl.I smiled and I heard the other kids in the back of the saying she picked her?So Mrs. Kidd continued asking the rest of the class who they wanted to work with, after everyone picked there partners the class went to the library to research on the computers. Me and the new girl grabbed a laptop.We weren't really focusing on our work, we went on Google translate and was typing in bad works and laughing and playing. So than she was writing her name on a piece of paper it said"Imani" and she told me she used to live in New York and the teachers up there always pronounced her name wrong.Instead of Imani they called her łmani we laughed the whole time.It was like I found my best friend. I knew she would never betrayed me.
