The heat of our passion
Burnt the sky's
A bright orange
And left the sands
To form peaks
Of glassShards.
I thought that
Through being together
We had destroyed
Something beautiful
The tranquility
Disappeared behind usYou corrected me
We had not destroyed
But made something greater
Something pureYet glass
s h a t t e r s
Beauty existed before our arrival
Hey We left nothing but
devastation
Behind.
