First Steps Pt.4

Chitose: Chitose looked down at you and chuckled, he was finishing up giving you your bath. He wrapped you up in a fuzzy towel, and went to your room, to put you in your pajamas. He set you in your crib, while getting the clothes he needed.After you were dressed in your footie jammies, he brought you into the living room to play with your toys for a little while before your bedtime. "Having fun, princess?" You squealed at your father, reaching to him, he leaned his face to you, and smiled when you started yanking on his nose. "Easy there, princess." The sound of the front door caught your attention. You looked up to see your uncle Dewa come in, "Unca Dewa!" you got up onto your feet and began unsteadily walking to him, leaving both males stunned at what they were witnessing. Dewa was the first one to recover, after picking you up, he looked to your father, who was standing there with his mouth open. You whimpered reaching your arms out to your father, Dewa set you on the floor and gave you a gentle push, "Go on (y/n), walk to daddy." Chitose seemed to come out of his stupor, and bent down with his arms open. "Come on baby, come to me." You walked into his arms, cuddling into his arms. He kissed your forehead, "Good job, princess."

Dewa: To say that Dewa had a long day would be an understatement, Homra had been busy trying to deal with Scepter 4, busting drug dealers, and J.U.N.G.L.E. was merely the tip of the iceberg, among other things. "Daddy?" Your father looked up at the sound of your voice, you were awake, and sitting up in your crib. "(y/n), sweetheart, it's late at night, what are you still doing up?" You didn't answer, instead you held out your arms, wanting to be held, chuckling to himself, he picked you up and held you against his chest. You started squirming however, wanting to be put down. "(y/n), if you keep doing that, I will put you back in your crib." "Show you." you said, "You want to show me something? Can't it wait till morning?" Shaking your head, you wanted to be put down, sighing Dewa set you down. "Alright, what do you want to show me?" You started crawling away from him, leaving him confused, until he saw what you were doing. You stood up carefully, and started walking to him, once you reached himyou hugged his legs. "I did it daddy, I did it!" He picked you up and kissed your cheek, "Yes you did baby."
