When You Start Dating Pt. 1

Mikoto: You were walking in the hallway of your school, with a note grasped tightly in your hand. Your destination was clear, your crushes' locker. You were almost to it when you bumped into the devil himself, Chase Munakata. "Oh hey (y/n)." "H-hi Chase." "Look I wanted to ask you... Chase began "Do you want to out with me? Tonight maybe?" You were screaming on the inside, completely ecstatic that your crush asked you out. "Y-yeah sure of course!" He gave you a smile that made you want to swoon, but you held it back. "I'll pick you up at 7." And he left to go to class.

That night...
You were at the bar getting ready for your date. Your dad insisted that Chase pick you up there. You had a suspicion as to why your dad wanted Chase to meet you here but you shrugged it off. You were just putting on the finishing touches when you heard the door open downstairs, "Hello Mr. Suoh." With lightning speed that would rival the green king, you finished getting ready and dashed down the stairs but stopping before you looked like a lunatic. Walking down the last few steps, you held back a groan you're suspicions being confirmed. You're dad had wanted Chase to come up here so he could have a talk with him. Izumo and Yata were flanked on either side of your dad.  Yata with a scowl on his face and Izumo scrutinizing him and your dad; oh dear god your dad looked like he wanted to burn him now. Not wanting to cause an all-out war with the reds and blues, you raced down the stairs. "Chase! Hope you weren't waiting long." You got in-between your dad and Chase. Thankfully, Chase didn't seem bothered by it. "Sir it was nice to meet you and everyone else. I promise you she'll be safe with me." 

Mikoto looked at him up and down before, "You'd better have her home by midnight, or you'll be a toasted marshmallow got it?" "DAD!" "Not a problem." "Wait a minute, (y/n)." Resisting the urge to groan, you turn towards your dad. Who was indicating you to come to him. Pulling you into a rare hug, he whispered in your ear. "Have a good time, and if you need us just call ok?" "I will dad." Grabbing Chase's hand, you both left the bar. 

You had a blast, you guys went to a festival and ate candied apples and Chase won you a stuffed animal. You were laughing at a joke he made, you were over the moon. He brought you home at 11:30 and asked you to be his girlfriend. You said yes, hugging him and he kissed you on the cheek. "I'll see you at school tomorrow, (y/n)." Sighing blissfully, you walked into the bar, almost missing your dad and the others waiting for you. "Oh hey guys! What are you still doing up?" "We were waiting for you." you rolled your eyes, but you knew they meant well. Besides Anna, you were their princess, especially since you were the king's daughter. You headed up the stairs with Mikoto following you. You turned towards him, "I know you don't like him dad, but I..." Your dad put his hand up effectively silencing you. " I was listening to your guys' conversation at the door, he really does care about you, he's respectful, and I see how well he treats you so.... I'm willing to set my differences aside with Munakata for you." You looked at your dad in shock before launching yourself at him, hugging him tightly. "Thanks dad. You're the best!" "So are you."
