Kellie’s POV
Everything was going great at Nandos. Niall’s friends came and sat with us and ate. I really like the people here. I met Josh last night at the party and he had some girls with him, one named Thalia and the other one was named Claire. Thalia had long brown hair and bright brown eyes and she was obviously dating Josh. Claire, who was Thalia’s best friend from what I gathered at the lunch, was blonde and had the most beautiful blue eyes ever. She was gorgeous.
Once we got the food everyone got really quiet and just ate. It was really awkward. Until Josh asked me, “How are you liking it here, Kellie?”
“I actually like it a lot. Niall has made it a lot better.” I said with a smile. Claire gave me a slight glare. What was that for? Niall kind of fidgeted in his seat. This was starting to get really weird.
“Waitress can we get our bill?” Niall said right as the waitress was walking by. Great timing. I really wanted to get out of here.
“Sure.” She said before she walked away and came back quickly with our bill. Niall paid for me. We stood up and said our goodbyes and walked to his car.
Niall’s POV
Holy Hell that was awkward. I couldn’t believe Claire was there. Nor could I believe all the glares she gave Kellie. That was just plain rude. Josh knows way better, but then again Claire is his sister and dating her was a bad move. I wonder if she still wants me? Wait. No. I liked Kellie now.
I drove her home and opened the door for her gave her a quick kiss and left to go home. I got home and made myself a sandwich and sat down on the couch to watch some television. My phone vibrated.
Josh: Hey, sorry about 2day I didnt kno u would be there
Me: its cool man.
Josh: Who was that new girl you were with?!?!?!?
Me: that’s kellie, she’s new here, she’s really cool.
Josh: Are you guys like a thing now?
Me: Yeah I think so.
Josh: Cool. Claire isn’t going to like that.
Shit.
How could Claire still care about me after she broke my heart? She was the one who dumped me. She was the one who lied and cheated on me. And now she was jealous? She hasd no right what so ever to be jealous!
I really needed to talk to Kellie and tell her everything so I texted her.
Me: hey kellbell. :)
Kellie: What’s up Nialler?
Me: nothing much wanna meet @ the beach 2night? I have to tell u something.
Kellie: Okay, 9?:)
Me: Sure :)
Kellie’s POV
Niall had to tell me something? I wonder if it is good or bad. I hope it was good. Or maybe he is going to ask me to be his girlfriend! That would be nice.
“Kellie?” I heard Alysa’s voice drift into my room. I looked at my doorway and she was standing there in her usual get up. Sun kissed beach babe. Jealous.
“Yes, Alysa?”
“I spent the night at Harry’s house last night. Supposedly I had an accident in the water and he saved me.” She said as she pointed at her bandaged foot.
“Are you okay??” I exclaimed.
“Yeah, I’m fine, it’s just really hard to walk. I have a date with Harry tonight. It’s a secret supposedly.” She said showing off. Oh how I loved her. She got excited and giddy over the cutest things.
“Well, I have a date with…. Niall tonight.” I said trying to one up her.
“Oh yeah? Where?” She asked.
“The beach.” I said back. “You?”
“The beach.” She said back. “Double date, much?”
We both laughed and she hobbled out of my room, I had 2 hours to get ready, perfect. I went through my closet, yet again looking for something awesome to wear. Maybe I would get lucky tonight. Not like sex lucky, but relationship lucky. Or both. Both would be good.
I walked over to my desk and turned on the radio to help me find clothing when the song Paradise by Coldplay came on, it brought me back to how we danced on the beach and how I slept in his arms. That was probably the best night of my life. So far.

I kept looking through my closet, I chose a pair of heels that I had purchased for Prom this year. I didn’t even go to Prom, but I watched Alysa go to Prom with the guy I wanted to go with.
FLASH BACK (PROM NIGHT)
I watched Alysa walk down our stairs, I had just finished doing her make-up and hair. She wanted our mum to put her dress on, not me. She was stunning. I was so happy that atleast one of could go to Prom, even if it was me. She walked over to me and gave me a hug and whispered into my ear, “you won’t be missing anything sis, you’ll go next year.” All I could do was smile. I did owe her one. I owed her one night to be beautiful and just special.
I walked up the stairs as the doorbell rang, Alysa opened it and none other than my crush Vince walked in the door. He looked handsome, I mean, he was always handsome. He looked up at me as I stood on the top stair in my gross clothes. I just wanted to go hide.
“Hey Kellie! Come take a picture with me!” Alysa called up to me.
“I’d rather not…”
“Please! I love you Kell.”
“Fine.” I walked down the stairs and smiled for about a thousand pictures. I just wanted to go up to my room and watch Mean Girls and quote the whole movie. Alysa gave me one last hug and went to Prom.
