First Words

Steve Rogers/Captain America: Your father and you were helping your Uncle Bucky shop for an apartment to live in. The adults seemed to be so busy but you wanted someone to pay attention to you. You started to fuss a little bit but your father only gave you your pacifier. You didn't want your pacifier you wanted someone to pick you up and hold you. You pouted and quickly thought that maybe this speaking thing they wanted you to do would work out in your favor. "Daddy," you say. Both Steve and Bucky did a double take and looked at you in shock. "I'll catch up with you in a minute Buck," Steve said as he picked you up. He grinned at you. "That was very good sweetie," he told you. "When we're done helping Uncle Bucky Daddy is going to buy you a new toy to celebrate your first word."

Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier: Your Uncle Steve and his daughter/son were helping you and father move into your new apartment. You and your "cousin" were sitting in a playpen while the adults moved the furniture into the house. It was starting to get towards dinner time and your belly was starting to get hungry. You looked over at your "cousin" who looked hungry too. "Hungry," you whimpered looking up at your Daddy with puppy dog eyes. He stopped what he was doing and picked you up. "Hey Steve," he called, "(Y/N) you just said her/his first word." Steve walked over and picked up his child. "That's great Buck," he said. "Good job, kiddo," Bucky told you. "Let's go get something special to eat to celebrate."

Tony Stark/Iron Man: Tony smiled down at you as the two of you were in his lab. "Come on, baby," he said excitedly. "Say Daddy." You blinked up at him. "Daddy (Y/N). Say Daddy." You blinked up at him again and then spotted someone behind your father. "Bruce," you squealed and then burst into giggles. Tony turned around to see Bruce standing behind him watching Tony stand over you. "Were you just my daughter's first word?" Tony asked Bruce. Bruce nodded smugly. "Yes," he said giving you a high five. "Ok," Tony finally gave in, "good job, sweetie." Tony bought you a new outfit, a teddy bear, and some ice cream to celebrate your first word.

Bruce Banner/Hulk: Bruce had taken you to work with him which you were all excited about. You wanted to learn all you could about your father's job. So you sat there in your playpen as he went about his work. You didn't really understand what was going on right now but you knew you wanted to be just like him when you grew up. "Science," you said. Bruce stopped short almost dropping what he was holding in his hands. "Did you just say science, (Y/N)?" he asked looking at you. You nod and held your arms up wanting to see what he was doing up close. Bruce put down what he was holding and picked you up. "That was very good, baby," he told you. "Do you want to be a scientist when you grow up?" You nodded at him. "I think you'll do great," he told you. The two of you spent the rest of the day together.

Clint Barton/Hawkeye: Your twin brother, Cooper, had already been speaking for about week now and your parents beginning to think that there was something wrong with you. You just weren't ready to speak at the same time as your brother though. "What if she/he has learning disabilities, Clint?" Laura asked looking towards were you and Cooper were sitting. "She's fine, Laura," your father reassured your mother. "Maybe she just doesn't want to talk yet." Your mother shock her head at this. Causing your parents to break into a fight. You looked over to Cooper who was chattering up a storm. Why was it so important that you begin to talk? You watched as your parents screamed and shouted at each other. "No," you said having enough of it. Both of Laura and Clint stopped in their tracks. "See," Clint said. "She's/He's talking." He walked over and picked you. "Good job, baby," he told you kissing the top of your head before placing you down next to your brother.

Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow: Uncle Clint had called your mother after having a fight with his wife over their child not talking. You looked up as he walked in the door of your mother's and your house. "Clint," you squealed as soon as you saw him. Your mom had been walking out of her room when you said that. Clint picked up as your mother walked over to the two of you. "Good job, cutie," Clint said bouncing you on his hip. "You just said your first word, baby," your mother said kissing the top of your head. 

Pietro Maximoff/Quicksilver: Pietro was out doing some grocery shopping for you and your aunt Wanda and him. Wanda and Vision were watching you for him but you really wanted your Daddy to get home and play with you. Your lip started to quiver as you saw he wasn't going walk through the door anytime soon. "Daddy," you whimpered sadly. Wanda walked over to you and picked you up. "Don't worry your father will be home any second now," she told you soothingly. She cradled you for a little until your father came home. She handed you to him and told him that you had said your first word. "I wish I could have seen it," he told you. "But this calls a treat." He bought you a new stuffed animal to congratulate you for your first word.

Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch: Wanda and you were just having a Mommy/child day at home. You watched movies and all your favorite tv shows. You had one your very favorite meals together. It was a perfect day but you were beginning to get very sleepy. "Tired," you whispered. Wanda stared down at you in shock. "My little girl/boy just said her/his first word," she whispered excitedly. "God job, baby." The next day you and your Mommy went out and bought you a new outfit and a teddy bear.

Thor: You had been brought to Asgard by your father Thor to see the place you would one day rule after he died. You were scared at first. Everything was so different from you lived with your mother. Your Uncle Loki came over and started to tickle you which got you giggling. This brought an angry look to the face of Grandpa Odin. "Will you stop that?" Odin snarled at Loki. "Bad," You shouted looking at Odin. Everyone stared at you in shock. No one knew what to do about the baby princess telling off Odin. "Probably not the best first word, my princess," Thor told you as he brought you back to your Mommy on Midgard.

Loki: You father and you enjoy sitting in the library usually with him reading you a story. Or letting you look at a picture book while sitting on his lap. It was a day like any other day. You and your father had just picked out a book and sat down to read. You were beginning to get thirsty though. You looked up at your father and said, "Thirsty." He looked down at you and nodded. "Let's go get a drink and then we can read our book at home," he told you. You nodded happily to yourself.

Wade Wilson/Deadpool: Wade had just come home from messing around with the X-Men. He enjoyed messing with their heads far to much. "So what did you do today?" he asked you as he picked you up from your playpen in the corner. "Nothing," you said bored. "Want to prank call Megasonice Teenager Warhead?" he asked. You nodded excitedly.

Vision: Vision and you had invited Wanda and her child on nice picnic near a lake. You saw a bird swimming on the lake and wanted to play with it. "Mine?" you asked plaintively reaching for the duck. "No, sweetling," Vision told you. "You can't have that duck. He has to live outside. Daddy will buy you your own duck." And true to his word Vision took you to a toy store and bought you a little stuffed duck after the picnic.

Sam Wilson/Falcon: Your daddy was dropping you back off with your mommy so you could stay with her but you didn't want him to go. You reached out for Sam and began to cry for him to stay but he didn't. You looked at him and cried out, "Stay." He stopped dumbfounded at the door. He looked at your mother who nodded. He took you back into his arms and held you until you fell asleep in his arms.
