The dappled sunlight shines through the high, heavy branches, creating a cobweb of light on the forest floor. The ivy curling up the ancient trees looks like scarves, protecting them from the biting wind. All around, you can hear the gentle hum of the woodland. The forest has almost a magical feel to it. Suddenly, the forest goes silent, the song has stopped. The only noise is a birds warning call and the crunch of leaves underfoot or the occasional snap of a twig being snapped underfoot, then you see him. You stop dead. Striding boldly forward is a magnificent, huge grey wolf. Beneath his fur, you can see the rippling muscles, in his mouth the rows of gleaming white teeth, a hungry glint in his eyes. Those sharp, cold eyes that sweep the forest as he walks, looking for his next unfortunate victim. You stay still, hardly breathing for fear that he will see you. But in vain. He sees you and starts walking menacingly towards you, crouched low, bearing his teeth and snarling. All you can think is that, unless you do something fast, you are his next meal. Your heart starts pounding so hard it hurts. You can't look it in the eye, that is a sign of aggression, it will lead it to attack. Carefully, you scan the area for a tree you will be able to climb. You see the perfect one. Slowly, so it doesn't realise what you're doing, you edge your way towards the tree. When you are only a few meters away, you break into a run. With a terrific growl, the wolf springs after you. You know then that it is to late. You feel his teeth sink deep into your calf, his claws against your back. Pain is everywhere, pain is everything. You hear your own ear piercing scream as you slide into a world of never ending blackness.

Weird Stories
RandomThis is a collection of stories and poems I have written when I have been bored. Some can be a bit weird. I'm sorry if some of it doesn't make sense but they are stories and I can make whatever I want to happen happen. Anyway, hope you enjoy.
