{Melody is played by madison beer! ;)}
My name is Melody Archer. I have long, dark brown, layered hair. My skin is tanned, and I have hazel eyes. I'm supposed to wear glasses, and I do sometimes, but I would rather just wear my contacts.I live with my mom, dad, and little brother. Luke is a pain, but we get along well most of the time. He's only a year younger than me. I'm a Junior and he's a Sophomore.

Melody's POVIt was Friday the eighteenth of February.
"MEL!!!" My mom yelled up the stairs at 6:00 AM, trying to get me out of bed.
"Coming..." I groan as I slowly get out of the bed and make my way downstairs.
My mom made me a bagel for breakfast. She put just butter on it, the way I like it. "Thanks mom." I smile as I take the bagel up to my room and start eating it.
As soon as I'm done, I pick out an outfit for the day. I wore a black T-shirt dress paired with an army jacket and my low-top white converse.
-
"WAIT!! I need a ride!!" Luke yelled as I was about to go get into my car. I roll my eyes and keep walking, Luke following behind. He steps into the passenger seat and I get into the driver's. Luke has a late birthday, so he doesn't have his license yet. When we get to school, we split. He doesn't like to be seen with me, and the same thing goes on here. As I walk in the double doors, I see people crowding everywhere. I make my way to my locker and see Kylie, my best friend, standing there. "Hiiiii!" She squeals as I walk up to her.
"Hey," I smile, opening my locker and getting out my books, shutting it.
"What's up?" She smiles. She's extra cheerful today...
"Oh nothing. How was the game last night?" I ask, referring to the football game she cheered for last night.
"Sucky," she frowns, causing me to laugh.
"You know? As a cheerleader, it's your job to be cheerful. And actually support your team, right?" I laugh, causing her to glare at me.
"I'm cheerful. I just didn't like the way the played last night." She kept a cold, hard glare at me as she spoke. When she was done talking, I noticed one of the football players were standing right behind her the whole time. And not just any football player. Jack Gilinsky.
Jack is the most popular kid in our school. He has dark brown hair, tan skin, and gorgeous eyes. I don't think he even knows I exist.
He turns around when he hears that Ky is talking about the team. "Talking about us, I see?" He smirks, looking at Kylie and I.
"Mhm," she glares, making his smirk grow wider.
"How were we?" He seems interested. Sort of scared of what she might say.
"You were alright." She shrugs.
He playfully rolls his eyes and turns back around to talk to his friends. He's hotter than hell.

As I make my way to first period, someone runs into me from the front. I didn't see who it was until we were both on the ground, surrounded by people. He quickly gets up, grabbing my hand in the process to help me stand up as well. When I'm standing, I see that it's Jack. "I'm so sorry. Lemme help you with that." He says, kneeling down to pick up my books. I kneel down beside him and pick up the books slowly, admiring his features. He finished picking up he books, and we both stand up. We are standing face to face due to how crowded the hallway is. "I'm sorry, again. I have to get to class," he says, not taking his eyes off of mine. "I'll see you in sixth period." He smiles brightly. It took me a second to realize, but he took my books. "Jack!" I gasp. "Jack!" I yell through the hallway. I then see him speed walking back to me.
"I'm so sorry!" He laughs and runs back down the hallway to his first period class.
I was standing by my locker with Kylie waiting for the bell to ring so we could go to sixth period. "So tomorrow at 5:30?" She asks, referring to dinner plans with our families. I nod my head and hear footsteps behind me. Ky looks over my shoulder and smiles, slightly nodding her head. I get confused and slightly turn around, revealing Jack, causing me to jump back into Kylie. "Oh my god, Jack! What the hell?!" I yell, but not so loud so that the teachers could hear.
He covers his mouth in shock. "You're so innocent! You curse?!" He smiles. I get off of Kylie and she walks away.
"Why'd you scare me like that?!" I hit his chest. Me and Jack aren't even friends. Why is he all of a sudden acting like it?
"I thought it would be funny." He shrugged, causing me to jokingly roll my eyes.
*RING RING* goes the bell.
"I've got to get to class," I say before he grabs my wrist, not letting me leave.
"We're going to the same class." He smiles, not letting go of my wrist. His hand eventually made its way to mine as we were walking. I didn't notice until we got to the room and he let go.
"You guys are late." Mrs. Childers says simply.
"The late bell never went off." Jack states, walking to the back of the room where our assigned seats were. I followed behind him because I didn't want to stand up there alone.
"The late bell doesn't NEED to go off!" She raises her voice, causing Jack to slightly jump. I think I'm the only one to notice, though.
"Okay, then what the fuck is the bell for?!" Jack stands up, slamming his book down in the process. (A/N: haha vine reference by jack and jack)
"Jack...?" I slightly laugh. I pull his arm, signaling him to sit down. But he didn't listen.
"Jack Gilinsky!!" The teacher yells.
"Mandy Childers!!" He yells back. He's not, in the least bit, scared. He's angry, but not scared.
Mrs. Childers' eyes go wide. "Principal's office. Now. Melody, walk him." She demands.
I obey and take Jack into the hallway. "Jack, what the fuck?" I laugh as I close the door.
"What? She needed it." He shrugged, making me laugh again.
"Why'd you do that?" I ask as we walk down the hallway.
"Melody, she's a bitch and I'm sick of her shit."
"Jack!" I laugh, hitting his chest.
"You asked me why!" He blushed, looking down at his shoes.
We were walking down the stairs. When we came to a platform, jack came at me. He pinned me against the wall and kissed me.
