Chapter 6

Jorge looked him straight in the eye hoping he will talk, "Listen. I don't enjoy hurting you. Okay?. where is the right arm marcus." Jorge said, "wait so this is marcus?" thomas asked shocked. Marcus just laughed, "the kid catches on quick. are you the brains or the operation?" marcus said but Jorge grabbed him by the hair looking directly at Jorge, "I know you know where they're hiding. so you tell me and I'll make you a deal." Jorge offered. marcus laughs again, "you can come with us." Jorge added, "I burned that  bridge a long time ago. besides. I made my own deal. you're the one who taught me never miss an opportunity" marcus says, "what's he talking about?" newt said, "I'm talking about supply and demand. WCKD wants all the immunes they can get. I help provide that for them. so I lure the kids in. they get drunk and they have a good time. then later. WCKD comes in. they separate the wheat from the chaff." he said laughing. I was so close to punching this guy myself but newt held me back, "I changed my mind hermano. I do enjoy hurting you." Jorge said kicking him to the ground still tied up in this chair. Jorge points the gun at his head telling him to talk,

Jorge asked him, "not bertha." he said about to cry.

We took he's car and continued to find the right arm. newt looked at me smiling which caused me to smile as well. I kissed him on the cheek and that seemed to make him smile even more. newt helped me out of the car as we saw bunch of cars in the way that we were supposed to drive, "well. I guess we're on foot." Jorge says. We looked around in each car but nobody was in them. next thing I knew a gunshots ,went off and newt immediately acted fast, "TAKE COVER!" newt yelled to everyone. we you hid behind a car as the gunshots continue to fire, "it's everyone okay out there!?" thomas yelled, "we're fine!." I yelled back, "anyone know where those bloody shots came from!?" newt also yelled. I could hear more gunshots, "everybody!. get set to Sprint back to the truck!. and hold your ears!." Jorge said. I held my ears ready to run, "drop it." I hear a women says, "I said drop it now!." she damaged. Two women held thomas and Jorge at gunpoint. me and newt raised our hands up, "you two cover here now and don't be stupid!." she said viciously but she looked at me and then aris, "aris?" she says. I put my hands down and walked over to her. newt tried to stop me but I know who this is, "harriet!?" we both said shocked she walked up and hugged us. I started crying because I thought I had lost her, "my God. what the hell are you two doing here?" She questioned. I looked and saw sonya was here as well. I ran up and hugged her too, "aris. Y/N. you're lucky we didn't shoot your dumbasses." she said hugging aris. I saw that minho and newt were confused, "uh...what's happening?." minho asked confused, "we were in the maze together." aris said. harriet whistled, "we're clear guys! come on out!." she yelled. There were a bunch of people standing on the very top of the mountains holding guns I guess they must have thought we were trespassing or trying to kill them. harriet and sonya lead the way, "we're taking them to base." Harriet said, "wait. so. how did you guys get here?" I asked, "the right arm got us out." harriet says, "wait. the right arm do you know where they are?" thomas asked. harriet opened the car door, "hop in." she said.

We got out the car seeing lot of people, "they've been planning this for over a year now. this is all for us." harriet said, "you guys are lucky you found us when you did. we're moving out at first light. where's vince?" sonya asked a man, "somewhere over there I think." the man said, "who's Vince?" thomas asked, "he's the one who decides if you get to stay." harriet says, "I thought the right arm was supposed to be an army?" minho says, "yeah we were." a male voice said, "this is all that's left of us. Lot of good people died getting us this far. who are they?." he said, "they're immunes. caught 'em coming up the mountains." harriet said, "did you check 'em?" he asked, "I know this guy aris. and I know Y/N. I trust them." harriet said smiling at us, "well I don't. check 'em." he said. brenda gasped for air and fell to the ground, "brenda!" I said turning her body, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry." she said as Jorge held her in his arms, "you....did...this....y/n..." winston's voice echoed in the back of my head, "you.....killed us....all..." newts voice echoed as well, "love I know what your thinking but please don't think that winston's death was because of you. he died because he wanted to help you." newt said to me. I held back the tears, "what's going on with her?" the man asked, "I don't know. brenda are you all right?" Jorge asked her. he lifted up the side of her pants and saw that she was bitten. He jumped in fear pulling out his gun, "crank! we got a crank!" the guy said pointing the gun at her. Jorge yelled no as I jumped in front of them, "you can't kill her!." I said, "yeah just listen okay!?" thomas added but he won't listen to us, "this just happened okay. she's not dangerous yet." thomas said, "you shouldn't have brought her here!." he yelled at thomas, "we let cranks in here now. the safe haven doesn't last a week!" the guy yelled again, "I understand okay? Just listen. please, "I said to the guy, "please okay? I told her that you can help. there's got to be something you can do." thomas said begging him, "yeah. there is." the guy said I sighed in relief as he put the gun down but then put it right back up, "I can put her out of her misery." he said. Jorge try to get the guys to let go of him but they just wouldn't budge, "Vince that's enough! let him go." A women said, "she's infected doc. there's nothing we can do for her." vince said, "no. but he can." she said looking at thomas, "hello thomas." she said. we were all confused by the fact that she knows his name, "you know me?" he asked her, "interesting. it makes sense they'd put you in the maze. though I must admit. I was worried they'd kill you after what you did" she said kneeling next to Brenda, "what did he do?" I asked, "the first time we spoke. you said you couldn't take it anymore. watching your friends die one by one. the last time we spoke. you gave me the coordinates of every WCKD compound. trial and lab." she said. I was just as shocked as he was, "he was our source." Vince added, "we couldn't have pulled all this off without him." she says. she told them to take her to the tent, "get these guys some warm clothes. " she ordered. she also told thomas to follow her.

I sat down on the bed and newt said next to me, "are you alright?" he asked. I nodded, "it's just....I get this voice of winston saying this is all my fault and I can't help but think that. the only person who should be died is me." I said being to cry.  newt held me which I loved because I actually feel safe, "if winston were here he'd be telling you the exact same thing. he didn't die because of you. he died because he saw something in you." he told me, "before winston died. he told me that you care about me deeply and I didn't know what he meant but now I do." I said looking at him. newt kissed me without hesitation. I kissed back. newt laid down on the bed as I was on his left side. we didn't break the kiss, "newt people are watching." I said laughing, "so? I can't show how much I love you?" newt said, "once we make it to the safe haven. I don't think making out when brenda could dying is the best thing." I said getting up but newt pinned me to the bed. i laughed as he kiss me passionately, "what the hell are you shanks doing!?" Minho said shocked to what he just saw. newt fall off the bed and I laughed even harder, "MINHO!. GET OUT YOU BLOODY SILENTHEAD!." newt yelled blushing, "it's fine newt. I have to go check on brenda anyway." I said as I finally stopped laughing, "I can't with you two silentheads." minho said, "it's just called being in love. like how you love running." I said, "your so weird Y/N." minho said jokingly, "WHAT DID YOU SAY ABOUT MY GIRLFRIEND!?" newt screamed and he seemed mad, "I think you should handle that." I said waving bye. minho rolled he's eyes and walked back to the tent newt and I were in.
