My every instinct was to run. I guess that was what I was used to, running. Running from people is what I'm most good at. I have had a lot of practise at being invisible, but running from danger isn't really my thing! My mom used to say that I was a danger magnet and that she would have a hard time keeping me safe when I was little. I didn't understand then but now it is all clear. I could feel fear pricking me at every angle. I didn't want to move but I could feel myself doing it anyway. For once in my life my path was clear. I knew what I had to do. Even if that was completely insane....

Meet Alice Rowan, a typical 15 year old. She likes fashion, t.v and extremely bad pop songs, she dislikes math homework and pretty much school altogether (basically all the things that normal teenagers like and dislike!) She's had a tough life though, growing up without your parents can do that to you. She feels alone and hates the idea of staying like that. She is upset. She doesn't like to show people though and has a bit of an issue at confessing her feelings!!! Alice's new school isn't really helping her and just when she thinks her life couldn't get any worse the unexpected happens! Something disrupts her everyday pattern.
