Epilogue

It was the Summer Holidays. I was sitting on a picnic blanket with the others, sipping my glass of homemade pink lemonade. Since Ivy's death and Lia's arrest, school has been mostly perfect. I got mostly As on my end of year exams, much to my delight. Hartness, of course, got straight As filled with A*s.
It was a lovely warm day. We were chatting about the year; we'd survived GCSEs!
"Remember sports day?" Alex asked. "April took a big gulp of water when she spotted a wasp and freaked out so much she spat the water into Summer's face!" We all burst out laughing, except for April, who pouted and rolled her eyes.
"What about when Griska came over and Melody went to offer him a brownie and tripped, dropping most of them and whacking into him?" she asked. This time it was Melody's turn to blush.
"Or the time at the start of the year, where Ivy..." Melody stopped, along with the laughter. "I'm sorry."
We sat in silence as I repeated something over in my head.
I've had my fill of murder for a lifetime...
Later that night, I sat up in bed, flicking through the 'book idea' section of Ivy's diary. There were many ideas, but my favourite was a trilogy of murders, all based at this school of hers. I loved the ideas that she had for them, and thought about what a shame it was that she hadn't had time to fulfill her books, since I personally would've loved to read them. With a sigh, I picked up my phone, downloaded this writing app, and began typing...
