Chapter 29

On the ride back to Rebeca's house Mitch reflected on the already interesting day he has had already. First, he had a... Intense encounter with Jene in which he nearly killed her. Then he encountered the person from his apparently manufactured dream. Who explained his Mind? Soul? was fractured into The Man, and The Beast. And last but not least he chased Melissa down to work his Beast out a bit. Caught her and nearly drank from her but Mitch took his body back right before that happened. Which was good because he wasn't sure if he could've accepted, let alone told Rebeca. He imagined she would've been devastated. It wouldn't have been completely his fault but that sounded like an excuse though. Mitch was responsible for whatever whichever piece of him did what, the consequences were his either way.

Mitch took a deep breath and checked the time, 6:25. It took about 3 hours between the gym, chase and the return trip. He got out of the car and in nearly absolute silence Mitch walked back into the house and crept up to his room. The Fist, Rosa, was leaning against the wall next to Mitch's door but didn't notice him at first. Mitch gave up the stealth and walked to his door. Rosa said nothing as Mitch entered his room quietly. He smiled as he saw Rebeca sleeping peacefully in his bed.

Mitch wasn't sure if he was just going to sit and wait until she woke or get in bed and snuggle with Rebeca, after a moment's consideration he decided on the later. He softly got into bed with her, on his side facing Rebeca the same way as her so her back was facing him. He ran one arm slowly under her pillow and the other laid across her waist. She smuggled up to him without waking.

Rebeca didn't wake for another 15 minutes before she rolled on to her other side and faced Mitch. She opened her eyes slowly, sleepily.
"Oh... hi," She said smiling softly.
"Hi," Mitch replied before leaning to her face and kissed her.
"Mhmmm..." She trailed.
"I could get used to a wake up call like that every morning," She whispered.
'Yeah?" Mitch asked smiling. Rebeca pulled him closer, her arms wrapping around him and kissed him deeply. The time for words were pass. She started trailing kisses down to his chin and then further down to his neck.
"May I?" she asked against his neck. Mitch moved his kisses down as well to her neck. Both of their hearts racing.
"If I can too..." He tailed against her neck. Mitch gasped as her fangs slid into his neck and Mitch also bit into Rebeca's. Her blood flowing, hot and delicious into his mouth and down his throat, euphoria coming over him, he pulled her closer if that was possible. They were pressed tight against each other, biting deeply. Mitch's fingers traced over Rebeca's body making her shiver, the thin cloth of her PJs the only thing between them his hand and her skin.

After a minute or so Rebeca broke off first. Mitch did as well shortly after, the dull ache he hadn't realized was there at first but now noticed it's absence. Rebeca snuggled up to Mitch and smiled. She fell asleep shortly after they were done but woke up grumpily as his phone's alarm went off to wake him for school.
"No," She said snuggling against Mitch.
"Hun..." He trailed. He got a face pull of pillow for the trouble and laughed. She looked up at him, annoyance in her eyes, her hair all messed up. but it was cute.
"You suck," She said getting up. All she had were her PJs on and she walked out of his room to her own to get dressed. She jumped a little, noticing Rosa and Mitch had to stifle a chuckle.
"Can you please make some sort of noise? You scared me half to death!" She exclaimed.
"Sorry Ma'am," she said and Rebeca went into her room.

Mitch smiled laying on the bed, still able to savor Rebeca's blood, even half an hour later. He wasn't sure how he felt about that. He didn't know if that was normal... He didn't have any frame of reference and the people who 'seemed' like him... He definitely did not trust. Melissa seemed to have decent intentions then again, if she was to be believed she sent him what was suppose to be a wet dream about her. So maybe her intentions were not in his best interest. In the end, Mitch had no one to reference or talk to, aside from Rebeca but she didn't know much about his condition, at least he didn't think so.
