Haunted

This is for Yandere-insane-love 's contest to make an one shot where Valt was the one who got scouted by Raging Bulls and Shu was scouted by BC Sol. Switched lives AU.

I got the idea of naming this 'Haunted' because while writing this, I was listening to Taylor Swift's Haunted. It's a great song and I think that it works for the chapter perfectly.

Valt's P.O.V

"Alright, I'm seeing improvement. Especially, you Valt Aoi. All of you, take a 15 minute break and we will proceed on training. " Our bey trainer said as he exited the room. We first drank water from exhaustion then went to our different ways to do our personal things.

I spotted a chair not so far from where was I standing. I first grab Valkyrie and was about to go there to rest and relax for a bit, when I heard my phone's ringtone. I quickly went to the table where I placed it to see Shu's photo on the screen.

"HI SHUUU!!!" I greeted hyperly after clicking on the answer icon. It was evident in my tone that I was eager to talk to him. I mean, who woudn't be excited to talk to your best friend after being so far from each other, like duh?!

"Woah, tone your voice down, but hello Valt." Shu calmly greets. "How are you doing?" He asks.

"I've been doing great! I made quite a lot of friends here, but some of them pushes me away when I offer to help when they're having trouble with beyblading. Some are angry with me. I can't exactly point out why though. " I scratched my head in confusement while raising a brow. "Anyways, the food they serve is absolutely delicious! So mouthwatering. I love their smoothies, their tasty bread, muffins! Mostly, I like everything!'

Shu chuckled on his line. "Of course, you do."

"But I don't like it when night time comes. Vehicles keep honking, engines working, people shouting, and many more! Now I know why New York is called the city that never sleeps. It's because it doesn't let the people living here sleeps!' I exaggeratedly complained with frustration in my tone. It's a good thing that I can manage to sleep even with all of the loisy noise bugging me.

"That's not exactly why, but close enough."

"By the way, Shu! Our bey trainer just said a while that he's seeing improvement especially from me! So you better watch out!" I threaten the albino male. "I have learn a few new moves that goes swoosh, swish, zing, and BAAM!" I say while making bey sounds, at the same time, doing hand gestures even though Shu can't see it.

"That's cool and yeah, sure. Me and Spriggan are having a smooth start here at BC Sol too."

"Aweso- wait what did you say?" I have to make sure that I heard that right because sometimes I don't hear the right thing hehehe.

"Yup. I already arrived here at BC Sol an hour ago. Sorry I didn't tell you earlier. I was about to call you after I set foot on the team's premises, but something came up that needed my service."

"Nah. Don't worry about it. I myself too is busy with training and those kind of stuff."

"Oh, did I disturb you in the middle of your training?"

"Nope. Actually, we were given a 15 minute break so it was coincidental and good timing that you called!" I told him.
