Chapter 5: Now He Knows

Lindsey's POV

I have always dreamt I would be able to drive Matt's car. Just in my dream I was wearing shoes. He's very very lucky I love him. Anyway I was just pulling up to our street and I get a call. I look at my phone and smirk at what I see Matthew❤✌.

"Hello" I sweetly answer

"Lindsey" Matt answers out of breath. "I quit I think I'm gonna die" he said exaggerating.

"Sorry Matt but you're gonna have to deal with it."

"Please" he pleaded

"no"

"pleasee"

"no"

"Pleaseeeeeeeeee"

"no!"I yelled

"fine" he grumpily mumbled

"yeah yeah" I laughed

"I hate you." he pouted

"Love you too Matt" I said hanging up.

I was sitting on my couch listening to music waiting for Matt. Then I hear my doorbell.

"About time" I mumbled.

All he says is four words "Get.......Me.......Some.......Water" before collapsing on my couch.

"Thanks for the sweat on my couch."

"I.......Could've........Died" he said still out of breath.

"Whatever" I said

"We didn't really get to talk yet."

"About What?" I asked

"You and Peyton."

I took a deep breath "umm sure let's talk" I said motioning towards my room since we were the only ones home.

"He did that?! I can't believe that jerk! If i see him I'm gonna kick his ass you know that?"

"Yea I know" I said laughing but my voice starting to crack. Next thing I knew I was crying into his shirt. He started to gently rub my back.

"Hey look at me Linds" he said picking up my chin.

"You're too beautiful to cry." he said handing me some tissue from the site of my bed.

"Thanks Matt. What would I do without you?"

"Probably die" he joked me still looking into his eyes. He started to lean in next thing I knew he kissed me. It felt so different from anyone I've ever kissed. His lips are so soft I feel nothing but sparks. It was simple yet sweet. I then realized I'm kissing my best friend. The one who I would tell everything to. The one I've known since I moved here. I then pulled away those sparks immediately disappearing. Thank God cause my Brother was knocking on my door.

"Lindsey you in there?" He asked.

"Hold up!" I said pulling away and getting out two books and motioning for him to sit on my bean bag chair.

"Come in." I said

He opened the door noticing Matt in the corner of the room. "Oh hey Matthew." he said as Matt waved back.

"I just wanted you to know that mom is working late so she won't be home until like 5 in the morning."

"Ok thanks Logan."

He smiled and left.

"Why'd you pull away" Matthew asked kinda taking me off guard.

Things just got real but cliffhangers are the best. Anyway Brazil is beautiful. You guys should so go there. You'll love it. In like two weeks were going to the Bahamas so funn. Yea anyway bye guysss until next time. Sorry its so short. Excuse any errors.
