I feel the sun coming up, I slowly open up my eyelids to adjust towards the beaming light outside, I groan as the sun creeps into my eyes and failing to adjust.
Just as I sit up, my alarm on my phone starts to ring making me groan once again.
I get up off my bed, walking towards my closet, opening the door and walking in, I grab a t-shirt and my usual black jeans, walking out and closing the door, I make my way towards the bathroom.
I open the door and head to the sink, I turn on the water to a warm amount, grabbing some soap and gently washing my face feeling the water drip onto my pajama shirt uhh really? I turn the water off and grab a towel to dry my wet face and try to dry my now wet shirt.
I strip from my pajamas and slide on my t-shirt, then I grab my jeans and slide them up zipping and buttoning, walking out of the bathroom and closing the door.
I walk down the stairs, then walk into the kitchen, I see my mother sitting down on a chair reading whatever she's reading. I look over to my fathers picture on the wall making me smile,
"Good morning" my mother says, looking up at me from her book. She catches me staring at my fathers picture and sighs
"You miss him don't you?" She quietly asks, I nod my head and keep staring at his picture, I then turn over to my mother,
"Yeah, I miss him a lot" she looks sadly at me, I shrug not making a big deal out of it.
"He will be back soon honey , he will" she says to me with a smile, again I shrug it off.
"Well I hope so, I'm heading to school now" I tell her, I walk towards her giving her a small hug, she hugs me back telling me to be careful.
As I walk out the door and down the street, I see Melody running up to me with a big smile plastered onto her face
"You wouldn't believe what I just saw!" She grabs my arm and pulls me towards the way she came from,
"Good morning to you also Medds" I tell her rolling my eyes
She stops walking and looks at me, her smile gone.
"You alright?" She asks, god why does she know me so well.
"No" I mumble
"Well what happened? Do I have to kick someones ass for you?" She asks me seriously
I stifle a small laugh
"No no, no ass kicking, but I just saw dad's picture in the kitchen and it made me kind of upset" I tell her, she gives me a warm hug nodding her head.
"It's ok, he'll be back soon right?" She asks me, we turn a corner to another street
"Yeah, well that's what mom keeps telling me, but I doubt he's coming back soon" I tell her truthfully, even if he was coming back, he'd probably be tired the whole time but oh well.
"He's a cool dad" she sighs "I wish he'd come back so when I come over he'll tease me about my hair, he was so funny" she smiles at the memory, I start laughing remembering the way my father would tease my best friends blue hair, I sigh noticing we are now in front of the school,
"Ugh hell is going to be alright today I guess" Med says looking at me
"It's finally the last day, But I don't know why I even came, there's no point" she nods her head agreeing with me.
"Well it's the last day, let's make the best of it!" She smiles wide and grabs my arm, she starts to run towards the entrance making me out of breath,
"Geez Medds what did you drink" she starts to laugh making me laugh because her laugh is so god damn hilarious,
We hear the bell ring for first class and part our ways since we don't have first class together.
I walk into class early, like always, I stare at the white broad, I hear a noise this makes my head snap up,
"Sup bitch" I turn over to look at Calum laughing his head off for calling me a bitch,
"Sup Asian" I wink at him with a smirk plastered on my face.
"I'm not asian!" He looks angry but he also looks like he's fighting off a laugh,
"Sorry kiwi" we both laugh loudly, we didn't even notice that everyone was already in the room including the teacher, they stare at
us like were mental,
Me and Calums laugh dies down and everyone's eyes aren't on us anymore thank god.
"Well that was awkward" he giggles
"I know right" I say, I look at him, he's such an idiot but I love him, he is my bestfriend,
"So, I was wondering if you wanna come by my house after school, I have a surprise that I haven't told you about" he asks me
"Yeah sure, but it better not be anything stupid Cal I swear" I tell him
"Trust me, it's really cool" he says with a full smirk plastered onto his face,
*god what have I gotten myself into* I think to myself.
