Katniss POV

My best friend Annie and I have been accepted to this college that's away. It will be nice to go somewhere different and start over fresh. My parents and my younger sister, Prim, had died in a head-on collision thanks to a drunk driver about 2 years ago. I had told Annie this after I had recieved the news. She immediately wanted to stay with me; I accepted because I couldn't stand to be lonely anymore. Since then, Annie has moved in with me so I wouldn't have to deal with the lonliness anymore.

We have just finished packing and putting our stuff in my red 2014 Mustang. My father was pretty rich, and we could pratically get what we wanted. So when he died, he left all of his stuff and his inheritance with the oldest kid, which is me. He left it with me because I am the oldest and I am 18 years old, which I think is the age you get all of your parents stuff when they die. (AN: I really don't know, so I'm just guessing)

"Ready to go?" Annie asked, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Yep," I reply. popping the 'p'.

We get in my car and we head towards the university. The university we have gotten accepted to is very nice, it's also the biggest party school, so that's one thing that I'm gonna have to get used to. It takes about 7-8 hours to get there, so we're going to have to stay in a hotel for the night until the next morning.

We check into our hotel room and unpack our stuff. We haven't showered yet, so I volunteered to go first. I grab a sweet smelling shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I guess I didn't have to unload my stuff for that. I shower quickly and then dry off. After my shower, I wrap a towel around my body and look in my suitcase for some pajamas. Finally, I find a t-shirt from my old high school and a pair of sweatpants. I put those on and walk out of the bathroom.

As soon as I walk out of the bathroom, I find a book out of my suitcase to read. I look around for a few minutes until I found my favorite book, The Fault in Our Stars. Everyone around me was reading it, so I decided I should read it too. Once I got the book, I was immediately in love with the book. By the time I was done with the book, I was in tears.

I pull out the book and read it until Annie gets out of the shower. She is usually known for taking long showers. For example, if you showered after her, there's usually no hot water left. By the time she's out of the shower, I'm 1/4 done with the book. I put up the book and we start talking for a few minutes.

"So...do you think that there will be cute boys there?" Annie asked.

"I don't know...probably. I guess there might be a few. I hope so," I say.

By the time we are finished talking, it's already 11:30. I tell her that it's time to go to bed and brush teeth. We both brush our teeth and go to bed.

When we had gotten the acceptance letter, it said that we could move in a few days earlier before school starts. If the other kids had gotten the letter, they would do the same thing. When we get there, there's a high possibility that we might get a room. It would be nice if we did.

The next morning, we got up around 8:45. We got dressed and did our usual stuff and packed all of our stuff packed back in our suitcases. Also on the letter, it said that the earliest time for getting a dorn was at around 10:00. We still got another hour or so.

Our packed stuff was still in the room while we went down to the lobby area to get breakfast. At least the breakfast choices here are actually pretty decent. We stayed down there for about 15 minutes and then we had to repack our stuff in my car.

The clock in my car says 9:39. We still have a little over 20 minutes. I researched to see how far the university is from the hotel, it says that it's a little over 15-ish minutes to get there.

We get to the university and it's about 10:03. I hope there might still be a few available rooms left. Some kids might've gotten here early to see if they can get the best room.

We walk to the front office and are welcomed by a lady that looks around in her mid 30s.

"Can I help you?" she asked.

"Yes. My name is Katniss Everdeen and this is Annie Cresta and we're here to get a dorm room," I say.

"Ahhh, yes. Here you go. Your rooom 473 in Dorm 2," the lady says.

"Thank you," I reply, even though she might not be able to hear me.

We walk around the campus until we find room 473. I pull the key out of my pocket and unlock the door.

As soon as I unlock the door, I am immediately blown away. There's a kitchen, a fairly big living area, and a few other rooms. I have a feeling that I'll probably like it here.

-----------Finnick POV------------

"Hurry up, Peeta! At this rate, we'll never get a room!" I say impatiently while looking at my phone every 3 minutes.

"I can't find what I'm looking for!" he yells back.

"We can get you another one when we get there!" I say. I have no idea what he's looking for. "What are you looking for, exactly?"

"I'm looking for my cell phone charger!"

"As I said, we can get another one when we get close to the university!" I say.

Peeta finally gets his butt down the stairs. I lock the door and head to my car. Now, we're on our way.

We finally get to the university. We had to stop somewhere along the way to get Peeta another cell phone charger.

Now to see what dorm we got. If we get one.

"Hi. Me and my friend here need to get a dorm," I say.

"I'm sorry. All of the dorms are unavailable. But, if you want a dorm room, you might have to share it with girls. The room is 473," the receptionist says.

----------Katniss POV---------

We are about done unpacking our stuff until we hear a knock at the door. I wonder who that could be. I don't know anybody here. I open the door and am welcomed with somebody with ocean blue eyes that are absolutely enchanting.
