Chapter 5: Just the two of us

[You and Mark finally got to Myeongdong]

You: Where are we?? (looks at Mark)

Mark: We are at Myeongdong.. The best place to go shopping and eat yummy street food!  (smiles big)

You: Oh.. Okay...

Mark: (puts his arm around your shoulder) Come on.. Trust me you'll have fun..

[You guys walk past a few stores]

You: So.. why did you think of shopping?

Mark: ... Uhh....

You: Is it cause I'm a girl? (teasing him)

Mark: No...

You: Oh.... (looking down)

Mark: (starts laughing) Yes actually..

You: (suck your teeth) MARK! (pushes him away with your arm while smiling)

[You both continued to laugh while walking. Then you and Mark stopped walking]

Mark: Do you wanna shop and then eat street food or eat street food first then shop?

You:.... Hmmm.... Shop then eat! ^.^

Mark: Which store do you wanna go first?

You: I don't know... there is so many stores!

Mark: Well which one is your favorite store?

You: Forever 21!

Mark: Okay let's go there..

You: Nae

[You and Mark goes into Forever 21 and went shopping at other stores. Then you guys wondered around and ate A LOT of street food and fed each other here and there. You guys had an amazing time. It was already 6pm by the time you guys knew it]

You: I'm sooooo full! (patting your stomach)

Mark: (laughs) Me too!

You: (laughing) What are we going to do now?

Mark: You wanna go to Han River?

You: Sure!

[Mark and You drove to Han River]

You: (walking close to the water) Wow it's really beautiful!

Mark: Yeah (looking at you while smiling without you knowing and sat down)

You: (turned around and looked at Mark) Mark?

Mark: Hmm?

You: (sat next to him) Why do you act like you care so much about me? We just met yesterday.

Mark: I'm not acting like anything. I do care about you.

You: But why?

Mark: I don't know... I just.. I.. It just comes naturally... Like I should care about you..

You: Oh... Thanks... (looking at the floor)

Mark: So... Why did you come back from America?

You: Uhh.... ummmm..

Mark: Do you not want to talk about it?

You: It's not that I don't want to talk about it.. it's just nothing to talk about.

Mark: But you make it seem like it's something to talk about.. so why won't you just say it?

You: Cause My Parents Passed away... That's why I moved back..

Mark: (looks at you right away) I'm so sorry..

You: They died in a car accident..

Mark: _____ you don't have--

You: (interrupted him) A drunk driver ran into them... and then just drove off.. that night I was so worried cause they never showed up that night.. then the next day I got a phone call from the hospital telling me to go there cause my parents were there.. When I got there my parents were already dead... Both of them... (sobbing)

Mark: I'm really so sorry.. (tears falling)

You: (wiping your eyes and looks at Mark and laughs a little) Why are you crying to?

Mark: (laughing as well) Because you were so sad it made me cry with you.. (wiping his tears).. Woo! Look at what you made me do..

You: What I made you do!? (slightly laughing but still crying)

Mark: Ohhh ______.. (hugs you and rubs your back)

[You continue to cry. You guys sat there for a while longer until you calmed down and then you guys drove home in silence]

Mark: (walking you to your apartment) I hope you had a nice time today.. (placing your shopping bags on the floor)

You: Yes I did..Thank you.. (smiles and digs in your purse for the key)

[Mark suddenly had the urge to slowly lean in towards you to kiss you on the cheek and then you turned towards him and his lips touched yours and you guys pulled back really fast]

Mark: Oh my gosh.. I'm so sorry.. I didn't mean to kiss you on your lips.. I was trying to kiss you on the--

[You cut him off by kissing his lips and snaked your arms around his neck while his arms went around your waist to pull you in.]

You: (pulls your face away but your foreheads were still touching) Good night Mark.. (smiling)

Mark: Good Night... (smiling to)

[You guys kissed one last time and went into your own apartments. You noticed the lights still on.]

You: Jackson! Jackson are you still up? (while taking off your shoes and walks towards the living room) Jackson, I'm back home!... Jack--... Kai?

[Kai standing in front of the couch in the living room]
