"So, Mum, tell me again why you and Robin aren't coming with us?" Harry questioned my Auntie Anne as he dragged his suitcase down the stairs, knocking me playfully on the bum as he passed me. Auntie Anne sighed playfully, rubbing her hands together as she made her way towards us with a grin on her face.
"Because, Robin has a meeting in London in next week and I thought we'd make a holiday of it" she beamed, slightly scolding Gemma as she thumped down the stairs too.
"Jesus, Jaycee! Why do you pack so much crap?" she feigned an exhausted look and threw my bag down at the door before throwing her arms around me from behind and squeezing me.
"You should be coming too, Gem" I pouted at her, "now you're leaving me with that dork".
I gestured to Harry as he struggled to release himself from his Mum's grip, making Gemma and I giggle sheepishly.
"I would be, but I've got my boyfriends birthday and a job I have to go to. But you two are old enough to go to the beach house by yourselves!" she reasoned, signaling me to the door where Harry was twirling the keys around his index finger, messing up my hair as she pushed me into him.
"Alright, let's go, Jayce" Harry grinned, flashing his dimples as he grabbed as many bags as he could carry and ferried them to the car. I sighed as I hugged Gemma and Auntie Anne again and followed Harry out to the car.
I barely reached the end of our footpath when a voice boomed emphatically behind me.
"Jaycee Marie Thompson! Where is my good-bye hug?"
"Sorry Uncle Robin, I thought you were in the shower still!" I smiled innocently up at him before wrapping my arms around his stomach. He kissed the top of my head and whispered knowingly to me, a comforting gleam in his eyes.
"Have fun kiddo, try not to reminisce and don't you and Harry annoy each other too much" he squeezed shoulders once more and dropped me into Anne's arms.
"I'm going to miss you sweetheart! You call us if you need anything and I hope Harry isn't too boring for you," she winked over my shoulder at Harry who just rolled his eyes in response,
"I hear he invited the boys to stay a couple of nights with you guys, be sensible and use protection, for the love of God!".
I blushed a deep shade of crimson as she went into detail of how hot Harry's bandmates were and how they could seduce a lesbian if they tried. I rolled my eyes and mouthed 'help me' to Harry only to have him shrug in response, smirking.
"Okay, Auntie Anne. We better go now or we'll be driving at ten o'clock tonight!" I stated dramatically, hugging her tight once more before kissing Gemma on the cheek and running around the side of the car and plopping in beside Harry, who revved the engine dominantly, waving to our family before speeding through the streets and onto the highway.
"WOOOOOH, BEACH HOUSE!" I grinned, rolling down my window and sticking my head out, letting my honey curls whip everywhere in the passing breeze.
"Jay, you look like a dog" Harry commented playfully beside me, keeping his eyes on the road. I snapped my head and pretended to glare at him as I inched my head back into the car. The thing I loved about our family's car was the fact the front seats were joined to make a third seat in the middle, making it easier for me to inch closer to Harry giving him nowhere to go.
"I look like a dog, eh?" I pretended to snarl at him like a dog, watching him smirk and twitch as I inched closer to his face.
"A dog, yes" he confirmed, nodding his head with a swift flop of his curls, his eyes twinkled green as he attempted to keep his focus on the road. I grinned at him before unbuckling my belt and grasping his face in my hands, his knuckles turned white on the steering wheel as he tensed under my fingers before I let my tongue run wet and sloppy up the side of his cheek.
