-flashback 1-
"Hey mommy" I said walking into the kitchen and hugged her feet.

"Hey sweetie. How's my girl doing?" She said crouching down and lifting me up.

"I'm fine mom. Has Danny gone to chool already?" I asked still not being able to pronounce the word school.

"Not yet sweety. Aren't you happy its his first day at his new school?" She asked.

"I'm happy for him but I'm gonna miss him at home in the daytime" I said a tears start to come in my eyes.

"Oh sweetie don't cry" she said wiping my tears with her thumb"

"Hey mom. Hey Abby" my brother said walling into the kitchen.

"Danny!" I shouted stretching my hand out to him.

He took me out of moms grip as I hugged his neck.

"Please don't go" I begged.

"I have to go but I promise after I'll bring you for ice cream okay" he said.

"I don't want ice cream I want you" I said bawling my eyes out.

Mom reached over to make me loosen my grip on Danny and pull me out of his hand.

"Sweetie Danny has to go" she said.

I started crying. He came over and gave me a kiss on my cheek making me feel a little bit better.

"Bye mom" he said before kissing her cheek and running out the door leaving me bawling my eyes out.

"Abby what's wrong?" My dad asked coming downstairs with some guard who are going to the pack house with him.

"Danny's going to school and she is going to bawl her eyes like last school year when he had to start  school" my mom said.

"Aw sweetie he'll be home before you know it. I gotta go honey" he said leaning over and kissing mom before giving me a kiss on my cheek.

-end of flashback 1-

-flashback 2-
"Hey Danny" I said as he sat down to eat his breakfast.

"Hey Abby how's school?" He asked.

"Its good. What about you?" I asked.

"Stressful but awesome at the same time. So.... You mind telling me which guy was in your bedroom last night?" He asked watching me with a smirk.

"Don't get the wrong impression he's my best friend" I said.

"I read you clear and loud" he said sarcastically.

"Danny I'm serious" I said glaring at his as he chuckled.

"Okay if you say so" he said seriously.

"Bye mom" I said  getting up to kiss her as I heard Steven's car beep his horn outside.

-flashback 3-
"Where you going mom?" I asked.

"I'm just going for a walk in the backyard. Wanna come?" She asked.

"Nope I'll stay here and finish watching the movie" I said

"Okay" she said getting up and walking out the back door.

-one hour later-
'Why is mom taking so long' I thought as I turned off the TV.

As I got up I heard a scream and my brother came downstairs on full alert.

"Was that you?" He asked annoyed.

"No" I push past him and  outside in time to see a man snap my mothers neck before running into the forest.

I run towards my mother  and I kneeled down and lifted her onto my laps. I started shaking her as tears started to stream down my face.

"Mom?mom?mom?mom!mom!mom!" I said shaking her talking quietly in the beginning before getting loud in the end.

Danny kneeled down next to me also calling out to mom.

"Don't do this to us!" I screamed shaking her.

As if on cue my dad came in through the back door.

"Is something wrong. My instincts just say so and have you guys seen your mo-" he said as he started to walk towards us and froze at the sight in front of him.

He kneeled down on the other side of me and I watched as tears stream down his face. He reached over a cupped her face with his hands as he pulled her out of my laps and hugged her close to his body swaying back and forth.

"Alpha your-" one of his guards started but stopped as he looked us and saw my dad holding onto my mom crying.

My dad stood up carrying my mother before taking a deep breathe in and handing her to the guard before running into the forest in the same place the man ran.

"You guys should get inside. Alpha's orders" the beta said pulling  us up from the ground.

My brother pulled me into his arms as we walked into the house with the beta behind us.

As we got inside the house got surrounded with bodyguards and all doors and windows were closed and locked.

"I'm here to see Abby" I heard Steven say outside.

"No one can go in there Alpha's orders" a guard said.

I walked over and unlocked the door and said"please excuse Steven"

"But the Alpha sa-" he started but I cut him off.

"Just let him through!" I shouted.

"Okay" he said moving and allowing Steven through.

"What's going on here?" He asked.

"Someone killed our mom" Danny said trying his best to hold back his tears but fail miserably.

"Right in front my face and its all my fault" I said.

"I'm sorry but I'm most definitely sure that its not your fault" Steven said as he pulled me into a hug.

"Its is my fault because she asked me if I wanted to go outside with her and I didn't and when I go outside my guard is always up so I would have sensed the danger coming" I said crying on his shoulder as he rubbed circles on my back.

"That doesn't make that your fault" he said.

My dad walked in with his clothes stained with blood and he walked pass us and straight upstairs. I turned to look at Danny with a scared expression.
