"I like this place and willingly could waste my time in it". - (As You Like It, Act II, Scene IV) W. Shakespeare

Jungkook was smiling so much as we pulled up on the street outside the house that he had to bite his lip. He's been begging me for the past three days to go see Jimin, his best friend. The three of us often hang out together, since Jungkook doesn't want to go anywhere without me. Not that he can't, of course. I called Jimin this morning, asking if we could come over to do one of our favorite pass-times - play video games. Without a delay, he agreed.

Now outside his home, hand in hand with Jungkook as we walked up the short driveway to the door, he was beaming with excitement. He hadn't seen Jimin since he visited us last, which was roughly three weeks ago. Knocking on the deep red rectangle, it was almost instantaneously opened, a bright smile and two crescent moons welcoming us. Jimin lived alone, along with only his cat and his brother to keep him company.

Jungkook immediately hugged the slightly shorter male, and so did I, but the reunion was short-lived since soon it was down to business. I mean, video games are a very big deal between us three.

"No! No! Seriously!? No way, you were around the corner!" Jimin complained from his spot on the floor. "No, I was around it on your side already. I beat you, fair and square." Jungkook crossed his arms, a proud smirk played across his lips. "No, you didn't! You were nowhere near me!" "Are you gonna say I'm cheating?" "Well... No, I'm sitting right next to you, genius." I watched Jimin tackled Jungkook, pinning him in a headlock and using his fist to mess up his hair.

Shaking my head, I chuckled to myself, enjoying watching the two become young boys once again. Ever since Jungkook was diagnosed, he hasn't had much time to really enjoy things. Jimin, of course, knows this, and puts in a lot of effort to keep the boy happy at all times, which I greatly appreciate. "Oppa?" Jungkook's bright voice interrupted my thoughts, and my eyes snapped over to him. "Yes, baby?"

Jimin pretended to gag at my endearing term for the boy, covering his mouth and making noises. Kookie laughed at him before turning toward me and clasping his hands together. "Can we pleeeease stay the night with Jiminie-hyung?" he begged, his eyes going wide. Even Jimin tilted his head at that, lifting a brow in confusion. "Why do you wanna stay here? Did hyung say something to you?" I whispered the last part, faking secrecy. He leaned closer, going with the mock scenario.

"No, he didn't. I just want to stay with him tonight. Just tonight, I promise. I haven't seen him in a long time, oppa. Please?" I ruffled his hair, then turned my attention to Jimin, who was still watching from the floor. "Do you mind if we stay?" Jungkook also leaned toward the blond, to pull his puppy eyes on him in an attempt to convince him. "Sure! You have to go get your bags though. No waiting around."

"Really!?" Jungkook squealed, smiling. "Of course, dongsaeng. We can stay up watching scary movies and pig out on candy! Would you like that?" "Yeah! Can we go get our stuff now, Taehyungie? Can we?" By now he was basically on top of me as he shook my arm. "Okay, okay. Calm down. Go get in the car, I'll be out soon." The boy immediately slipped out the front door, heading outside to my car. I watched him leave before turning back toward Jimin.

"You don't have to do this. I don't want to trouble you." He shook his head, his bleached bangs bouncing over his eyebrows. "It's no worry. I've got the room. Plus, a sleepover between three twenty-year-old guys is totally normal, right?" "He's different, Jimin." "I know. But it's okay, really. I was getting kind of bored anyway, since my brother went to his girlfriend's place." "Alright then. But if we get on your nerves, just send us home, okay?" "I'll make sure to do that."

The faded yellow wool blanket was completely over Jungkook's mouth and nose, but his eyes stayed wide open, the light from the TV bouncing around in his dark moons. All three of us were huddled underneath blankets, all the lights off as we indulged in 'Unfriended'. Jungkook had never seen it, and Jimin had leaped at the chance to show off his collection of movies. I was up against the end of the couch, Jimin on the other side, Jungkook sandwiched tightly between us.

The boy's knees were up against his chest, his entire body underneath the yellow wool while he leaned against me. He jumped when one of the cameras went blurry for a moment, causing a loud screeching noise to play out. All the while, Jimin was grinning and eating his Sour Patch Kids with no problem at all. Occasionally I would jump and even yelp at scary parts, but I mostly smiled through it all, as I found Jungkook to be extremely adorable when he was scared.

"Aish, don't do it!" he nearly screamed at the TV. Jimin and I snickered, since we both knew the actors on the screen couldn't respond. I draped my arm around his shoulders to pull him against me, but Jimin pouted and pressed himself up against Jungkook's other side, wrapping his arms around Kookie's upper arm. "Protect me, too!" he whined, and I shook my head at his childishness. He may act naive, but he's the best friend a guy could have. Although his ego takes over way too often.

I love him.
