---------------------------------------------------------------

Marcus and Niall left about two hours ago. I was invited, but promptly turned down the unwanted invitation. I could only imagine what they had been talking about for a solid two hours. In that time I had taken three pain killers, drank two cups of coffee and I was just preparing to make calls about this club opening. It never occurred to me to get the name and now it could be the most important detail of the event.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure the club is called Vixen. Sounds familiar anyway." Ava's voice rang through the phone.

"Okay. Well, thanks for clarifying."

"It's fine. Have fun shopping tonight." She giggled like a petty school girl.

"You know me and my love for shopping." We said our goodbyes and hung up.

I googled Club Vixen and the first article to appear featured a familiar name. I clicked on the webpage and read through the information. It turns out that Thomas Parker has created this club and all the proceeds are going to his charity. He is so rich that he can just create a club that takes no profit and donates everything to charity. He has sponsors who are providing beverages, lighting and other stuff to run the club.

At least we know why Ron and his men are so interested in the club opening.

"This is a disaster." I held my head low in my hands and rested my elbows on the table. Freddy turned around in his seat and leant his arms on my desk.

"What's up?" He simply asked.

"This case." I groaned. I crossed my arms over my chest to look at Freddy in the eyes.

"Well, it's 12:30 now. Do you want to grab some lunch? I think you need to get out of this office." I watched him try to get me to go out with him. Yes he was gorgeous, but he also worked with me and I don't date co-workers.

"Freddy," I started. I had told him at least a dozen times since he started working here that I just don't date co-workers. "You're really nice, but you know I don't date-" the sound of his light chuckling broke my speech.

"Look, Robyn, I'm seeing someone, but I still think you should get out for lunch and if you don't want me to go with you, could you pick me up something from the kebab place?" I felt immediately embarrassed, but his quick change of subject made the embarrassment blow over slightly.

"Yeah, yeah of course." I grabbed my bag and ran out of the office at lighting speed. That was so awkward. I hit myself on the head for how I could have ever imagined he was making his move on me. Of course he had a girlfriend. People move on.

I made my way into the local kebab place and jumped when the little bell announced my arrival. I was not myself today. I flicked my sunglasses to rest on my head as I examined the menu over the counter.

"Hills?" I prayed that I had misheard and that someone hadn't called my name. I reluctantly turned to see Niall and his friend waving me over. I instantly shook my head in hopes he'd get the idea, but that clearly wasn't portrayed as he jogged over to me.

"What are you doing?" I whispered harshly at Niall still weary if on lookers

"Bringing you over. Come join us" The smile never left his face, he seemed so excited. Niall continued to plead with his eyes.

"Uh, I um," I stuttered as I became lost in the blue of his eyes. "I, um, I have to bring back food for Freddy." I finally managed to say.

"I'll call him down. He can join us. C'mon Hills." Niall grabbed my arm in attempt to pull me along.
