Forbidden Desires

Chapter 1

"Kelsey. Get up you have school in 30 minutes. " I hear my mom call from downstairs. I tilt my head up from my pillow to check the time on my phone. It read 7:30 on the clock. "Shit" I curse under my breath and bolt out of bed. I grab a shirt and a short black skirt throwing those on. I put my hair in a quick bun and put on my blue converse shoes.

I receive a text message from my friend Tiffany.  Omg. I can't believe we're finally seniors. Meet me by the front doors when you get here!!  I reply back with haha I know it's insane. I still don't know what I want to do with my life after school.

I head downstairs and grab an apple for a quick breakfast before school. " morning sweetie. " my mother says walking into the kitchen. " morning. " I say before taking a bite out of the apple. " I can't believe it. You're finally a senior. " she says in a happy tone. I see her wipe a few tears from her eyes. " don't cry mom. " I say laughing a little to myself.

"Sorry. " she says wiping a few more tears from her eyes. " I'll go and start the car, when you're ready I'll meet you in the car. " she says. She grabs her keys off the kitchen counter and heads out the front door. I can feel butterflies in my stomach a little. I can't believe I'm already a senior. Time has flown by so quick. I wonder what this year is gonna bring for me.

I hear my phone go off and I got another message from Tiffany. I grab my phone out of my pocket looking at the message. Haha I feel ya girl. You still have all year. I'll see you when you get here!!

When I finish my breakfast I throw my apple in the garbage, grab my bag and head out to the car. When I get in the car my mother looks at me with the biggest grin on her face. I give her a confused look. She looks away laughing and puts the car into gear driving off in the direction to the school.
