Sasuke Uchiha found he was an Alpha at age 9. Uchihas found their second gender much earlier than others, as they where almost always Alphas. When he entered the academy, his father had told him that in any circumstance, he found an omega, that he should mate as fast as possible as it was rare to find Omegas, most times a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Naruto Uzumaki was the only Omega in the leaf village. Before he was there, the leaf had not a single Omega besides Mikoto Uchiha (mate of the clan head). Jiji (3rd hokage) had warned him that when he felt heated, he should lock himself in his house no matter what. It was either that, or take pills. But, the hokage had absolutely forbade that, as the risks were high that he could die on suppressants.
