Chapter 14 ~Staying Behind~ 

-Mirajanes P.O.V-

Today is Mizukies funeral and Lisanna and I stayed behind at the guild just to make sure everything was ready for the ceremony. Its such a shame that this is what it came to. The story's Roxan told us about Mizukie, all their missions together, the way Mizukie hated master conferences. I don't know. I just hate to see it end this way. I looked over towards Lisanna, she was placing the chairs on top of the tables. When she was done. she walked up to me with a small smile on her face but a bit of sadness in her eyes. 

"Well, done with that. Is there anything else we need to do before we go?"

All I did was shake my head and smiled.

"Nope,that should be it." 

She smiled back at me but, then that smile soon faded. 

"Can we.... You know..... Go see her one last time?"

I already knew what she was stalking about but, before I could say anything, there was a loud crashing sound. It came from the back of the guild..... Near the infirmary. Lisanna and I looked at each other with worry. We didn't say a word and ran to the doors of the infirmary to see what was the cause of the loud sound. And what we saw was something that we never thought we would see.

-Mizukies P.O.V-

"Wake up. Wake up. Wake....."

That was the last thing I remember my mother saying as she disappeared from my sight and was replaced with total darkness. After a few seconds, the darkness soon vanished and was replaced with nothing but bright lights and white.... Everywhere. I squint my eyes from the bright light as I look around the room I was in. I rub my eyes to get a better look of things and see that I'm in a.... Infirmary? I'm guessing this is FairyTail's infirmary. I looked down at my arms and see that the IV  was still stuck in my arm. I pulled the tape off of it then pulled the needle from it. It didn't bleed tank god. When I tried to get up, I didn't realize that there was still other machines hook to me, so when I tried to stand up, the rest of the things that were connected to me all fell, making a loud crashing sound with it...... Crap. I hurry to pick up all the things that fell but, a sharp pain shot through my body which made me lean up against the wall.

"Man, my head still hurts like hell."

I held my head with my left hand as my right probed my up against the wall. I look up at the mess on the floor and try to give it another go to pick it up but, before I could pick up a single thing, the door slowly opened, reviling two beautiful girls with whit hair and deep blue eyes. They looked as if they were sisters. I looked up at them with confusion when I saw that they covered their mouths with their hands and tears began to shine in the corner of their eyes.

"Uhhh, are you o-"

But before I could finish what I was saying, the one that seamed the oldest out of the two walked up to me and fell to her knees. I was piratically at the same level as her, seeing as I was kneeling to pick up what had fell. She removed her hand that was on her mouth and placed it on my shoulder. She still had tears in her eyes as she gave me a beautiful smile and pulled me in one of the tightest hugs I've ever been in. The younger white hair girl ran over to us and hugged me as well. I wont lie. I was really loving the feeling of the position I was in but, the only thing that made me feel uncomfortable was that I didn't know these two girls. But looking at their actions, they must know me.

"I'm sorry to ruin the moment but, may I ask.who are you two?" 

They looked at one another before looking back down at me with wide smiles.

"My name is Mira-JaneStrauss but, you can call me Mira. And she is my younger sister, Lisanna Stauss. We heard a lot about you from Roxan while you were..... In a coma."

I wasn't surprised when she said that. Mom practically told me everything so its not that big of a shock so all I did was give them a small smile.

"Well I hope the things she told you were good things...."

I say as I rub the back of my neck. They look at me for a second then started to laugh.

"Are you kidding me! The whole guild loves you! But what can you expect from Natsus twin?"

Lisanna said. It took me a minute to get what she said through my head then I remembered that Natsu was indeed my twin. I couldn't help but laugh at what she said. Wow I haven't laughed like this in a while. It felt..... Well, good.

"Well, now that you awake, we should get you cleaned up and ready!"

Mira said as her and Lisanna stood up, helping me up with them.

"Wait. Ready for what?"

When I asked them this they looked down and theirs smiles left their faces.

"Well you see.... The council informed us that we were to have a funeral for you since its almost been a year since you well.... have been "A sleep" so that's where everyone is at at the moment. We stayed behind to clean the guild before we left cause probably after the ceremony, everyone will want to go home..."

A funeral? Now that I look at it, they are wearing nothing but black. I was speechless but, then I thought.

'I guess I can understand their decision... I mean  I was practically dead. I'm actually happy that they made that decision...'

I looked at them and just shrugged my shoulders.

"Well looks like their going to be in one hell of a shock when they see me up eh?"

They replaced their frowns with huge smiles and laughter.

"They sure are! Know lets get you dressed!"

(Time Skip After Getting Dressed) -Mizukies P.O.V-

I looked at my self in the mirror after I had a shower, did my hair and make-up and got dressed. I was wearing a black strapless dress that went down my mid thigh. The skirt was kinda puffed out but, not to much. I had some long black lace socks and had a pair of black high-heeled boots. My hair was done in a messy/loos scalp side braid. I also had elbow length black gloves but the closer they got to the elbow, they turned into lace just like my socks. For my make-up, they gave my eyes a smoky black eye shadow look with sharp black eye liner and some dark red lipstick and a lot of mascara. And to top it all off, they put a black laced veil over my face and just a normal black cloak.

"You look adorable!"

They both squealed as they did a few touch ups to my appearance. 

"For a funeral?"

I sweat dropped as i saw that they weren't paying attention. To amazed at their work. 

"So you know the plan right?"

Mira asked me as she became more serious. I smirked at what she said and nod my head.

"Don't worry. I got it. We should get going or we're going to be late."

They just smiled and we hooked our arms together as we headed towards the main doors of FairyTail. Lisanna on my left and Mira on my right. Only if everyone knew what was about to hit them....
