"I'm sorry, baby. It just hurts to hear you say these things about yourself," Hoseok buries his head into the juncture Jungkook's shoulder and neck.

"Sorry, hyungie, but it's true-"

Hoseok's pulling his head up and turning Jungkook to face him. "I won't let you say these things about yourself or let you believe them. You're not normal. You're not like other boys. You're better than them. Not only are you pretty, but you're also so kind and caring and really fucking smart on top of all that. You're so precious, Jungkookie, like a diamond in the midst of lumps of coal. Don't lower yourself, okay?"

Hoseok speaks so fiercely and passionately that Jungkook almost believes him. Even though he tried so hard not to, a few tears escape his eyes and he wants to turn away from Hoseok so bad, hide his feelings before he can see them, but Hoseok is holding onto chin, forcing him to look into his eyes.

His eyes widen when he sees the tears that trail down Jungkook's pink cheeks, but he schools his features and wipes them away gently. "Jungkookie, baby."

Hoseok pulls him into his arms and holds him as if he's afraid to let go, and he doesn't, let him go that is, for the next couple of minutes.

When he does pull away, still holding onto Jungkook's arms, he says, "I know how hard it must have been for you, love. Just wanting to wear what makes you feel good, just wanting to have feelings for whoever catches your eye, but then being hurt by everyone around you. It'll be hard to come back from that, but you have me and all your hyungs to support you. We love you so much for who you are, and we don't ever want you to change. We want you to be our little Jungkookie forever." He kisses Jungkook on the tip of the nose and gives him such a brilliant smile that Jungkook can't help but return.
