I didn't plan on going for a long walk since it was already getting dark. It's been a while since I had walked around, alone. At times like this I usually think about random nonsense that happened over the week, but I was distracted when I suddenly heard someone scream.
Was I hearing things now? I looked around me, though there were only few people around me, nobody seemed to have screamed or seemed worried about it. I ignored it and carried on with the walk until I heard another scream. This was crazy. I decided to turn around and go back home instead, but when I did so, I felt someone suddenly hugging me from behind. I turned back to see who it was and saw a familiar face, which went all pale and looked really scared.
"Please help me", the man said. I immediately recognised the boy, it was BamBam. The guy I met earlier today.
"What happened?", I asked him and then saw two people running towards him, who stopped right in front of us.
"Why do you keep running from us, boy?", one of the boys asked BamBam, who ignored them and stood next me.
"Who is this guy with you?", the other boy asked and I am sure he was talking about me. BamBam still refused to speak up, he looked petrified and was hugging my arm.
"Come with us now!", the first boy said again, sounding impatient and irritated which made BamBam hug my arm even harder than before.
"Leave the boy", the second guy told me. Honestly I wasn't holding him from them. Why am I involved this at all?
"Please don't leave me. I don't want to go with them", BamBam whispered to me.
"Come on!", the first boy shouted again.
"He doesn't want to come with you. So leave him alone", I finally spoke up. I didn't know who they were and how they were related to BamBam. But I had to free my hand from BamBam's clutches. I'm pretty sure there hasn't been proper blood flow in the area where BamBam was hugging.
"And who are you to protect him?", the first boy asked.
"I'm his friend. Go away before you hurt yourself", I said. It was a good thing they decided to walk away because I couldn't do anything to them. I can only sound scary, but in reality I can't do shit.
"T-thank you", BamBam finally said, leaving my hand which felt really numb.
"You have a lot of explanation to do" ------------------
