Creatures in Mythology and Legends have always existed and have always been part of history. Demons, angels, mer-people, vampires, sirens, dragons, the creatures of the light and the dark. An this is where our story starts, 1791 in Delaware late at night. It was a chilly out and a man was riding his horse from the town's hall to his home. The stone road in front of him was lit my the full moon and the bright stars. The September winds blew in his face as the horse galloped towards the house in the distance.

"Heel!" he demanded the horse. He spotted a figure leaning against a tree next to the road. His curiosity got the best of him and decided to help out. As he got got off of the horse, it came more clear that the figure was a young lady.

"Hello ma'am, do you need help? It's dangerous to be out here all alone." he approached the figure.

"Ma'am?" he questioned. The next thing he saw was a beautiful woman, a flash of red eyes, the woman attacking him, and nothingness.

His horse ran away in fright when he heard the screams of his owner. He ran up the path towards the home were an old woman and a young lady came rushing out at the sight off the riderless, hysterical horse.

"Where's Anthony? I don't see him? Why is his horse here and he not? Annabel, go put the babies in the cot, go get James and a candle, we are going to go find him!" ordered the old woman.

"No Martha! It's too cold and dangerous for the two of us to be out here, let James do it with the other boys. Now come inside and wake them up." the lady by the name of Annabel ushered the old woman inside the home.

The two gathered the men and boys and they set off. They found Anthony, cold and lifeless on the ground not far out from the property. He had scratch marks and two puncture wounds on the neck. This was a vampire attack. They couldn't tell if he would stay dead or not, but his body was cold to the touch and no sign of life.

The youngest went on his horse to inform his mother and sister-in-law that they had found Anthony attacked and dead. When they heard so they both broke down in tears and wailing. Martha had lost her oldest child and Annabel had just lost her husband, the father of her twins.

But no one knew what happened to Anthony Faunds. His body disappeared the day before he was set to be buried.
