I just wanted to say that this chapter is dedicated to my girl @KimDash11.  She gave me the idea to write this chapter. THIS IS ALL FOR YOU KIM!

Breeze had a terrible dream that night.

It's now about want you might think, Discord and her being captured. No. It was about her den mother back at the orphanage.

The den mother was an elder pony with a cutie mark of a wrinkled pear (most of the young orphans believed it was because of her crinkled heart.)

Her name was Perry Winkle. (A/N HAHA, IM SO PUNNY!)

Perry would always tell the fillies that they were worthless pieces of donkey scat and told them that's why their parents left them in the first place.

The elder pony normally went after Breeze, telling the young filly her parents stayed away from her because she wasn't good enough for the world.

Breeze began writing stories about an evil witch harassing young fillies all over the world. That story, in fact was the story Breeze was writing when she got her cutie mark. But we are going off topic now.

Breeze's dream starts like this.

She's back at the orphanage, watching her younger self write her stories in the corner of the room. Ghost Breeze lookS to her left to see Ms.Perry stroding towards young Breeze.

Oh no... I remember this... Breeze says to herself.

Ms.Perry shoves her hoof at Breeze, making young Breeze's notebook fall onto the floor.

"Wings-for-Brains, get out of your idiotic novel. The Princess is here to talk to you, you waste of space." Perry barks at baby Breeze. Breeze presses her broken glasses to her face and grabs her notebook with her wing. Head down, Breeze walks past the den mother to the mess hall. Ghost Breeze follows close behind and scowls at She-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named. ( KimDash11 ;))

Princess Celestia stands regally in the middle of the mess hall, watching as Breeze practically crawls towards her.

"Head up, Young Breeze," Celestia tells Breeze. "You look much more mature when you look up." Breeze slowly lifts her head, meeting the Princesses eyes. "I have a gift for you." Celestia's horn begins to glow, a gorgeous notebook and a blue lock on the side appears out of thin air. She gives it to Breeze, the filly examining it carefully.

"It's.... It's.... Beautiful. B-But you didn't have to give me this. I haven't done anything to deserve it." Breeze stutters, nervously. What Breeze didn't know, that book had a tracking device in the lock, in case the next time Breeze ran away from the orphanage and nopony found her, the Princess could find her. Celestia waves the thought away with her wing.

"Of course you have!" Ghost Breeze cracks a smile at her words. "Now, I believe I must get going. Take care, dear Breeze." That's when Breeze's dream ended.

Discord was dreaming about the past thousand years.

Discord had a lonely life. He used to be close friends with both Celestia and Luna when they were flillies. When the Princesses' parents got into a war with the Draconequus clans, they made it forbidden that Princess Celestia and Princess Luna see Discord.

After the war, which lasted several thousand years, the Princesses parents and family members were wiped out, as were Discord's.

Discord went back to befriend The Princesses but they pushed him away, knowing what his family did to theirs. This caused Discord's heart to go cruel and empty.

He passed his anger to the ponies of Equestria, going home to bed crying himself to sleep. He had no pony to love and care for.

He.... He was a monster.

Sorry if it's a bit short. I wanted to get this out and only base it off the past of these to characters.

Hope you enjoyed!
