Everything was warm, gentle rays of light landed on the long maroon blue hair of a girl, who was still asleep although it was mid-afternoon. The only sound heard was gentle breathing. Until a screeching noise from an alarm clock echoed around the room.

A grunt of disappointment came from under the blankets as she sat up and promptly glared at the alarm, which was across the room so she wouldn't throw it again. She stretched gently, her skin as pale as marble yet not sickly, The bed creaked as she moved and walked over, turning it off gently then proceeding to look at her pet wyvern, who slept through the entire thing.
"Wow, what a great guard dragon you are!"
Her voice held a teasing tone and her emerald eyes sparkled with humour, as she walks over to it, her shirt and pyjama bottoms cling to her frail frame and she proceeds to gently pet the small wyvern, a noticeable detail about her was the yellow dragon tattoo wrapped around her left arm.
An amber eye was opened slowly by the sky blue dragon who rolled his eyes, but got up and attached himself to the girl anyway.

She slowly walked over to the door, her hand settling on the handle. It felt heavier than normal and it was extremely hot. A sigh escaped her lips as she shook her head.
"Oh well."
Without a thought, she opened the door and walked into what should have been a corridor covered in photos. However, it was more of a rock covered hallway with a door at the end, shadows draped the rocks like curtains. She was...surprised slightly. She knew something like this was going to happen but...she did not expect to be seeing him so soon. After a careless shrug, she walked through the sweltering corridor and hastily opened the door, she really wanted to get this over with honestly.
What she didn't expect was the sight before her, there was a harp placed in the middle of the room being played by...a person.
She quietly started to walk up to him, the room was red so his short messy white hair stood out to her, he also wore a midnight vest over a pure white shirt. He didn't really fit the scene that was unfurling before her like a diamond in a pile of coal. The closer she got to the harp the more she wished she had not approached it. It's appearances warped from elegant strings to red and pink, it looked slimy and it was wiggling like it wasn't supposed to be used as strings. It didn't take much to know what they were, especially with the strong metallic scent lingering over them.
Sadly she took a step too close and the white-haired teen stopped playing, his hands lingered over the strings, his fingers painted red he then turned around. He stared at her with warm ruby coloured eyes yet they were cold and harsh, it was like she was stuck in a blizzard when he looked at her. Her mouth was dry but she managed to open it,
"hello Luci! Back at it again with harp practice?"
He stayed silent as he stared at her, seemingly ignoring her statement, she attempts another interaction,
"You'll never get back in you know, there's really no point in trying"
This time he rolled his eyes and smirks at her actually giving a response.
"Oh, I know that I'm not going to go back there even if I wanted to, I mean final decision and all right? I do have a new place I'd rather use, however..."
She narrowed her eyes, slightly confused, she knew there was no other place to go.
"You seem confused, you should already know, shouldn't you?"
Her eyes widened and she takes a step back, then starts to rush off towards the door. She had to get back, she couldn't do anything here.
"Third times the charm right?"
She flinched hearing that but runs out quickly. The corridor had changed drastically, however, now the floor was sticky and dark as she ran, the shadows grabbed and scraped at her legs. She could hear the footsteps behind the door which were accompanied by a low chuckle.
Step after step after step, as she ran the footsteps only got closer and closer until they stopped. She spun around and breathed in relief, only to feel a wall behind her suddenly.
She froze, then realised the one mistake she shouldn't have made. She turned around. You never turn around here.
A slow blink and suddenly Lucifer was standing in front of her, "it's nothing personal, you're just in the way...but when aren't you?"
Her eyes widen as she sees him raise the blade, unable to focus on anything except it in the light then everything went black.

"Ow!!!"
The blonde boy rubbed his head as he sat up, his emerald eyes glanced around his room, for the whole of his life he had nightmares, he could never recall them but it ended up with him falling off of his bed and him waking up on the floor.
"Now I'm glad I live alone."
He sighed heavily as he pushed himself up and looked at the clock, panic took over as he saw the time.
"Oh my god I'm late!!"
He grabbed his clothes and hastily got dressed, grabbing his phone and keys he practically ran out the door. After a few blinks, however, he realised he fooled himself.
"I'm not going to be late at all damn it."
He decided there was no point in rushing through a crowd to wait outside an empty store, that would be a dumb move.

He looks at the door, eyes drooping. He knew there wasn't really a point in going back inside just like how there was no point in going to work right now. He swivelled around and looks left, then right deciding he'd rather face his garden than anything else. As he was going to sit down, he feels like someone gave him a gentle nudge but not a physical kind. He blinks and looks to the side, seeing a smokey figure poking its head over the hedge staring at him.
"Oh. Hey Simon,"
Simon waves slightly with his mildly see-through hand. Then gently points at where his forehead would be if he wasn't made entirely of black mist.
"Oh- of course!"
A voice rings out,
"hey Charm, you forgot to sort out your clock?"
Charm rolls his eyes in a joking manner,
"Oh, so it's more like you were getting ready for your old job."
"Hey, I gave you permission to talk to me through telepathy not read my mind."
Simon puts his arms up in mock surrender, a chuckle escapes Charms lips.
"It's not my fault when your thoughts are so loud."
"Talking about jobs...what is it like being up here compared to down there?"
Simon crossed his arms if he could laugh he obviously would,
"Better paid, and warmer. The people are funnily more friendly."
Charm tilts his head, leaning forward almost falling into the hedge while doing so.
Simon shakes his head in disbelief,
"While you are falling into the hedge I would suggest heading to work now."
Charm pouts but brushes himself off and sighs
"Alright, have a nice day then."
Simon gives a nod in reply then heads into his house.

Charm starts off into a sprint, then stops as he reaches the end of the street, seeing the crowd of people pushing and shoving past each other. Tails are being stood on, wings are being stretched people are getting scratched but don't seem to care as they rush off to where they need to be. In his mind, this is the perfect example of organised chaos, that he sadly needs to go through himself.
He puffs up his chest and rushes in sliding through as many bodies he can, eventually popping out the other end, landing on his front.

As he pushes himself up he notices a scratch on his arm, he sighs and practically shudders spotting the cozy store in front of him, a cool blue paint over the entrance with sliding doors at the front. The name Medstip written in red cursive writing above the doors. Charm sighs and pushes open the door steadily, ready to face the day.
