Good fears...

Chapter 9

-Jacob's POV-

When I looked over I saw mason not even trying to bang on the windows anymore...he was just staring out with no emotion that everyone else noticed and stopped...we all knew it wasn't worth it.

"What is it mason?" I asked getting closer to him

"The windows...they're tinted"

"Tinted?!" Rob asked

"Yes as in one can see us even if the lights on are and no one can hear us" he said as he leaned on the wall sliding down

"What kind of school has tinted fucking windows?!" Johnny asked

"No school does....that thing whatever the hell it is....did that" I said

"You've got to be kidding me right now..." Sean said rubbing his hands through his hair

"Yeah no kidding" I said

"This can't be we have to find a way out of here at least until dawn" Johnny said

At this point I was starting to think we weren't going to make it out of here anyways...everything was going wrong....and I knew it was going to get worse...as much as everyone tries to keep a positive attitude...it's not working.

"Until dawn? Until dawn?!...it feels like we've been for more than a just a god damn day Johnny, do you really think we'll make it out? Look at us man" I said stretching my arms in frustration

"Listen here Jake, honestly I know you're angry at the fact that we lost three people now but I believe we'll make it out okay? We have lives we want to fulfill" Johnny said looking at me with confusion and anger

"I just don't see a way out of this"  I said rubbing my hands through my hair

I looked over at Sean who was staring down at the tunnel doors like if he was thinking or maybe saw something but we didn't notice right away.

"What is it Sean?" I asked putting my hand on his shoulder

"Mason you said that....that window was broken because a Hand tried to grab you...but the window isn't broken"

"I swear it was I'm not crazy" he said almost getting angry

"No no he's not trust me" Sabrina said standing by him

"Why don't we go check it out and maybe try to find a door that could be open" Jacob said

"The tunnels are you crazy?!" Rob said

"Guys check this out!!" We heard Evie scream from the hallway

We all ran to where she was standing at, right in front of these doors...teachers would tell us to never try busting into these doors...founders of the school came in and those metals doors were already locked...no one could find the key...and no could ever figure why there were made out of metal but there's something behind those doors. Something very inhuman like.

"But those doors have never been able to been open" Johnny said

"Well I guess we thought wrong" Evie said as she pushed open the doors slowly to reveal a dark empty stairway that leading up to nothing but utter darkness

"Woah" we all said at different times

"I don't get it....but they're lock...how the hell?!" Mason asked

"Well..." Johnny said scratching the back of his neck

"I get it.." mason said

"Well who wants to go check it out?" Evie asked
