Prolouge

"MOLLY! I'M FREAKING OUT!" Lily screamed across the room. She was sat on the bathroom floor of a hotel room, about to marry her school sweetheart.

"Lily, just stay calm." Molly Weasley, Lilly's best friend said to her, making her way to the bathroom.

Lily was almost in tears, her wedding dress ruffled up.

"I'm scared Mol. I don't know how I can cope with a child."

"Don't be silly, look at me and Arthur. I've got 4 and another on the way." She smiled. "I have all faith in you."

Lily smiled slightly from the corner of her mouth. She held the pregnancy stick in her hand and waited for the lines to appear. Within a few more seconds it was there. Clear as day. Two lines.

"M...molly.. I'm pregnant." Lily couldn't hold it together anymore, she burst into tears in her best friends arms.

"Lily, it's okay."

"How is James going to react? It's my wedding day!"

"He'll be fine."

James Potter paced.

"I can't do this Padfoot." He said, rubbing his temples.

"You've wanted this ever since you met her, just chill mate." Sirius told him.

James didn't say anything, instead he made his way to the bathroom, wondering how Lily was doing. She was probably sat chatting to Molly and her mother. Discussing the wedding and their honeymoon, while James freaks out.

"James.... it's time." He heard from the other side of the door. He took a giant sigh and let himself out.

"Okay..." he managed to say before following his best man out the door and to the reception room.

"Do you, Lily Evans, take thee, James Potter to be your husband?"

"I do." She smiled up at her soon to be husband, the happiest she had ever been, but still trying to get her head round the news she had only an hour before.

"And do you, James Potter take thee, Lily Evans, to be your wife?"

"I do." He smiled at his soon to be wife, not understanding why he was freaking out so much, When he really has wanted this for years and now it's finally here.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. Kiss your bride, james."

They shared a kiss unlike any other. Their first as husband and wife.

"Its going to be so obvious." Lily told Molly.

"It won't. If anyone asks you just want to enjoy your wedding day and actually remember it. Tell them you've had way too much on your hen party and can't even look at alcohol without feeling sick."

"Will that even work?" Lily questioned.

"Of course. Worked on my wedding day. Although Arthur knew I was with child and he w-"

"What you ladies talking about?" Sirius inturuppted.

"Oh, nothing interesting. Just girl talk." Molly told him.

"Really? Because I heard something about lying why you're not drinking, so what's up Lily. James knocked you up?" He joked. Lilys face shifted and she looked down at her hands. If Sirius knows, everyone knows.

"No!! OH MERLINS BEARD LILY YOU'RE PREGNANT!" Typically, the music stopped to change at this exact moment and the whole hotel heard him. Eyes darted towards Lily and Sirius.

James heard from the bar and he stopped dead in his tracks, making eye contact with his wife. He gave her "is this true" eyes and she just nodded.

He darted towards her excitedly and cleared his throat to speak.

"Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this is true. We've only recently found out and we didn't want to announce it here, on our wedding day, however this twit has a giant mouth. Save your congratulations for later."

The whole room erupted in clapping and cheering and James pulled Lily outside to talk.

"Why didn't you tell me!"

"I wanted to." She sighed. "I only found out this morning. I've been poorly recently and I was late so I had to check. Molly was with me. I'm sorry i didn't tell you James I just didn't know what to say or do. I was so scared. I didn't know if this is what you wanted and I didn't want to ruin our big day an-"

James cut her off with a passionate kiss.

"Lily. I love you. And my unborn little boy."

Lily hit his arm playfully. "How do you know it's a little boy!"

"I'm a daddy now.... I know my son."
