Chapter 3

Peggy grinned and flopped down onto her bed, the weekend she had sneaking around with Maria was the most fun she had ever had. Although one thought kept nagging her, what if her sisters found out, they would hate her. She knew that Maria was good friends with Eliza, and friends tell each other secrets, right? So what if she told her.
Peggy sighs and decides to text Maria, hoping that she hasn't already told Eliza.
Pegs🌼: Hey Mari- Can i ask u a favor..?

Mari🥀:Ofc- what do you need?

Pegs🌼:Could you,,, not tell my
sisters about us, I'm scared that they'll hate me if they find out I'm- you know- gay :(

Mari🥀: I won't but I wasn't going to anyway! Same goes for me, I'm scared Eli won't like me if I come out so... This is our little secret right b?

Pegs🌼: Yeah, our little secret ;) 💛

Peggy smiled and curled up on her bed, blushing just at the thought of Maria. She was absolutely smitten.

Alexander was sitting in Starbucks, sipping his iced coffee as he waited to see if his ex-lover was going to show up.
Just as he began to lose hope, a tired looking Thomas came through the door, Alexander grinned as he caught his eye, Thomas smiled back, somewhat hesitantly. Alex stood up and went over to him, pulling him into a quick hug.
"I missed you Tommy." He looks up at Thomas as he lets go of him.
"Yeah I missed you too I guess..." Thomas mumbles "But I haven't forgiven you I hope you know that."
"I know, that's why I'm here, I want to make it up to you."
"Mhm- Uh- Yes I'd like a large Americano with an extra shot please." Thomas quickly says, having just realized that he was at the front of the cue.
"Okay great, that'll be $5.25 please." The cashier smiles.
Thomas reaches for his wallet but Alexander quickly blocks his hand.
"I'll pay." He smiles handing the cashier the needed amount, waiting with Thomas for his coffee to be ready in silence.
He thanks the barista who hands him his coffee and they go to sit down in the seats in the corner, face to face, out of the way of everyone else.
"So... You wanted to explain why you cheated on me?"
"Yes look Thomas... Ch-Charles and King they... t-they said that if I didn't sleep with them that t-they would hurt you... and I... I just loved you so much that I would rather I put myself through a horrible ordeal t-than they hurt you... I-It would have hurt me more if you had gotten hurt-" Alexander skillfully lies, the acting classes he went to finally being useful.
"My god..." Thomas puts a hand over his mouth, tears threatening to fall.
"-and I still love you Thomas... I really do... I've always loved you and I just hope that we can at the very least be friends again if not more-" Alex spurts more lies.
"Shhh... Talk less... I forgive you Alex, because I love you, nothing has changed, I was just so hurt but now- now I understand what happened, I can't keep pretending that I don't love you." Thomas smiles slightly before leaning across the table and planting a soft kiss on Alex's lips.

"Hey John I'm back!" Alex shouts as he opens their door.
"Lexi!" John grins, standing up off the couch to kiss his boyfriend "Where were you?"
"I was at Starbucks, catching up with a friend that I hadn't seen since last school year."
"Oh okay! Well I was just about to go visit Eliza, maybe Maria will be there if you want to come."
"Sure I'll come! Hey should we tell them that we're dating? Because I'm dying to tell someone, but I want it to be someone we can trust."
"Yeah... We can tell them I guess." John smiles and grabs Alex's hand, pulling him to the girls' dorm.

"So did you have fun with Peggy? I know Angelica and I were off together a lot... It's just Angie and I are really close." Eliza asks.
"You bet I did." Maria smirks.
"Oh so you like her?" Eli smiles back.
"Yeah we're really good friends now, we're definitely going to keep in touch." Maria sits down on the kitchen counter, grabbing a bottle of water.
"Well then you can come whenever I go back if you'd like, I'd hate to think that Peggy gets left out when Angie whisks me away." Eliza chuckles, rubbing the back of her neck.
"Yeah I'll totally come- but you know I did miss something while we were there."
"What did you miss?"
"You."
Maria pulls Eliza close to her, leaning down to kiss her, gently biting down on Eli's lips, earning a small moan, giving her just enough time to slip her tongue into Eliza's mouth. Eliza giggles and gently traces Maria's curves, pulling her shirt up as she goes, Maria breaking the kiss just long enough for Eliza to pull her shirt off.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
"For fucks sake." Maria sighs and goes to answer the door.
She glares at Alexander and Laurens standing outside, Alex blushing madly, his eyes not even slightly looking at her face.
"Uhhh Maria... Why are you in a... you know." John mutters, looking away.
Maria looks down at her bra "Oops, my bad, she winks at Eliza who in return squeaks and looks away.
"Wait what are you-oh I didn't even notice she wasn't wearing a shirt." Alexander lies, his gaze still following Maria as she gets dressed.
"Yeah right." John laughs, admittedly quite jealous, wishing he had boobs so that Alexander would look at his instead of Maria's "So uh... What were you doing without a shirt on?"
"Oh Eliza and I were having a little fun before you rudely intruded." Maria mutters causing Eliza to look absolutely mortified.
"Oh so you're... dating?" Laurens smiles.
"I guess so, yeah." She responds.
"Great we can go on double dates!" Alexander exclaims.
"Oh so you're together too?" Eliza having had time to process what just happened.
"Yeah, we are." Alex smiles, pulling John closer and resting his head on his shoulder happily.
