New Girl in Town (Teen Wolf)

Chapter 2

        Don't know if i'm gonna continue this... But anyway, here is chapter 2!

        "Take me down to the paradise city where the grass is green and the girls are pretty, oh won't you please take me home." Ashlyn heard as her alarm went off. She slowly opened her eyes and laid and looked at her ceiling for the rest of the song. She then sat up, stretched and walked into her bathroom and took a shower.

Once done she walked to her closet wrapped up in a towel and picked out her clothes for the day. Ashlyn pulled out a grey Metallica crop top, black high rise jeans, a black leather jacket, and grey vans. Then proceeded to put her clothes on and make her way to the bathroom to fix her hair and makeup. Ashlyn put on grey eye shadow and made her eye liner in a cat eye fashion, put on mascara and moved on to her hair. Deciding to let it air dry and fall into its natural curls she walked downstairs to eat breakfast.

Ashlyn rounded the corner and saw her dad pouring a cup off coffee. "Morning dad." She mumbled.

"Morning Ashlyn. How did you sleep?" He asked as he walked over and kissed her on the forehead then sat on the bar.

"Alright I guess. I'm still really tired." Ashlyn said as she put some bread in the toaster and pulled out the peanut butter.

"Same. Your mom starts working at noon and works until midnight." Her dad said while typing on his phone.

"Oh that sucks." Ashlyn commented as she grabbed an apple and took her bread out of the toaster and smeared peanut butter on it. She then walked over and sat at the bar as well, on the end.

"Yeah. Hey, I gotta head to work but have fun at school" Her dad said as he stood up and grabbed his jacket.

"What about the car?" Ashlyn asked in a panic.

"Don't worry. My business partner is picking me up. Your mom is going to drive you. She set her alarm for 6:45. You have to be at school at 7:30 right? We live like a 15 minute drive from the school." Her dad explained as he kissed her on the forehead and started towards the door. "Don't forget our deal." He said before he closed the door.

Just then her mom walked down stairs in yoga pants and a sweatshirt with minimal makeup on. She looked tired.

"Morning mom." Ashlyn said through a mouthful of toast.

"Morning sweetheart." Her mom said with a smile and walked over and gave Ashlyn a side hug. She then proceeded to go and make a cup of coffee for herself.

Ashlyn looked at her phone and it said 7am exactly. She had a half an hour to try and stop the anxiety attack that was trying to reach the surface.

"I know for a fact that you will be fine today." Her moms voice startled Ashlyn from her thoughts.

"Yeah. I guess." Ashlyn said as she bounced her leg up and down. "Hey mom, I'm gonna be right back." With that, Ashlyn took the last bite of her toast and grabbed her apple and began to walk upstairs towards her room.

She walks in and grabs her bag and her I-Pod then stops by the mirror to give herself a pep talk. Ashlyn takes a bite of her apple and looks at her reflection.

"It's going to be okay. You are going to be fine. New school, new people. That means new friends. Think positively and positive things will happen." Ashlyn repeated as she looked at her reflection. She then looks at her phone and its about 7:10 so she figured she should get a head start to the school.
