|SPENCER'S POV|
I am woken up by my alarm clock. I say very quietly, "6:30 already?" I walk over to Toby's side of the bed and wake him up. He says, "Good morning, Mrs. Cavanaugh". Even though we have been married for a little over 2 years, I still smile and get butterflies when he calls me his wife or talks about "our" daughter, Ansleigh. After I wake Toby up, I go across the hall to Ansleigh's room to wake her up. She's only 1 and 1/2, she is very smart. She gets up and goes downstairs to watch Spongebob. Then I follow my normal routine. Get up and ready for the day, make breakfast, and do whatever I need to that day after Toby leaves. Today will be a little different. I got an e-mail from Hanna asking if Ansleigh could be the flower girl in her wedding tonight. I can't wait to see Hanna and Caleb for the first time in a long time.
|TOBY'S POV|
As I'm driving to work, I hear my phone go off. As soon as I can pull over into a parking lot, I see why it beeped. I look on the screen and see that I have a new text from Spencer. I open the text and it reads, "Hey babe❤️. So I just got an email from Hanna. Her and Caleb's wedding is tonight and they want Ansleigh to be the flower girl😊 -Spence"
I text her back, "That's great! Wish I could make it. We have to work late today. It would be awesome to see them again😔. -Tobes"
Before I even can lock my phone, she replies. "Awww😥. I wish you could come too babe. I'm sure Caleb would love to see you. But work hard!❤️ -Spence"
I wish I could go. I really would LOVE to see our daughter in a cute dress being a flower girl. I would also love to catch up with Hanna and Caleb. Oh well. At least I'm getting paid extra for having to work late.
