RANT - Dress Code

I completely understand that schools need to have dress codes so that students don't wear thongs as shorts, but my school has officially pissed me off. When I was in 8th grade, my school picture was of me in a pink patterned tank top that was flowy. Hell, even most of my wardrobe was tank tops. Now in high school, you have to cover your shoulders. The staff say that showing too much skin is distracting, yet there are some occasions where men broke the rules and got away with it. It's as if they're telling women not to be happy with their body. I'm so sick of it!
