I'm surprised the national death toll hasn't rose since the decrease in budget. I like to assume the people are smart and not lazy, but one can dream. Anyway, if you haven't been in a situation where a knocker is present, let me elaborate. Have you ever been by yourself, usually at night, and hear a feint tap at a door or window that sounds like a light knock, but not enough for you to consider it a knock? Don't get up to check it. Here is a proper way to not get yourself killed. If it is a Door, pay no attention to it. If you have to know what knocked, yell from behind the door to question. Do Not Open. If it's a window, leave the room. Don't question it. Once they knock on a window, their coming in and nothing is going to stop them. Now if you hear a knock from both a window and a door, hide. Not under a cover, but behind a door or under a couch or bed. Finally, if you hear a knock through a wall or ceiling... run."
