I hadn't tried this method in the past, but it proved quite effective. I usually do it a different way. I had never tried the chloroform soaked rag, I thought it would take longer. It worked in seconds. Most of the time I would just tie them up and gag them, then but a pillow case over there head.
My house was about a 30 minutes drive from the park. It wasn't too far away, but it was a little bit of an inconvenience. Quinn was still resting on the back seat of my car. The rag was covering her face so she wouldn't wake up. I'm still not sure if there is such thing of a chloroform overdose, if there is I'm glad she didn't die.
It was still noonish when I got back to my house. The sun was in the middle of the sky. The sun was shining on the windows of my house, making it so you were unable to see inside. That's why I chose that house. It's not the prettiest thing in the world, one day I hoped to repaint the house and fence to a more mature color, not green like it was. I kept good care of my garden, I grew my own vegetables and I even had chickens. I sold the eggs at the farmer's market every weekend. I seemed like quite a normal man. Nobody would have suspected me to be this way.
I got out of my car and quickly went over to my shed. I grabbed some spare rope, just in case Quinn woke up. I walked back to my car, the gravel crunched underneath my feet. I peeked inside the tinted window. She was still sound asleep. I unlocked the doors and hauled her onto my shoulder. She was heavier than she looked, it was kind of surprising. I carried her up my creaky patio stairs and set her down. I pulled out the key from under the doormat (basic, but it worked) and unlocked my front door. A pulled Quinn up in my arms again and carried her through the front door.
I carried her upstairs to the spare bedroom, it was a pretty good workout. I decorated the spare bedroom so it was cozy. I put girls into the bedroom and boys into the basement. Boys needed more discipline than the girls, so I put them in worse conditions. That is unless the girls decide to make things difficult. I bought most of the things in the bedroom from thrift stores and garage sales. The bed had a floral quilt on it with lots of throw pillows. I had put some stuffed animals on the head board, too. The room had a vanity and a dresser lined with little glass trinkets. I also provided a bookshelf with books incase they got bored. The walls were painted a soft pink. I wanted to make that space as cozy as possible so they would trust me.
I put Quinn on the bed gently and covered her with a fleece blanket, I didn't want her to catch a cold. I walked out of the room and turned off the light. I quietly closed the door and locked it with the key. Now I just had to wait for her to wake up from her slumber.
