Silverstar walked quickly. It's hatching tonight! She thought, trying not to look suspicious. "Silverstar, are you ok? Your egg would've hatched tonight wouldn't it? I'm sorry that it was cracked" Mastermind asked. "Don't remind me!" Silverstar growled. She had to get to her egg, now! (She had actually hidden it).
Silverstar speed walked towards the black water of the ocean. She had hidden the egg in a cave in the Sky Kingdom. Silverstar looked around, making sure no one was looking and took off.
Silverstar has flown for hours, only stopping half way on the small island, when she finally made it to the coast of the Sky Kingdom. Silverstar flew as fast as she could towards the cave in the mountain.
WHERE IS MY EGG? Silverstar thought, wrathful and nervous. Crack. Did Silverstar just hear a faint cracking sound? Crack. Yes she definitely did. Walking towards the sounds, she carefully watched for skywings.
Silverstar then saw a silvery shape being bathed in moonlight. It was her egg. How is it out here and why is it silver? Did I do something wrong? She thought. The egg cracked a bit again. Oh well I will love her anyway. She thought. Her!
Silverstar wrapped her talons around the egg and squeezed it firmly but gently. The eggshell splintered away leaving a beautiful dragonet in her talons. The dragonet had polished black scales with hints of dark blue and dark purple. Her horns were white with purple tips, the same with the spikes on the back of her neck. She had indigo under scales and strange silver teardrop shaped scales next to her blue and purple eyes.

The dragonet was perfect in every way. Her horns spikes and teardrop scales were strange but beautiful. She's beautiful Silverstar thought. She looks like she's... listening to something. But the nightwing powers are ment to be gone!
The dragonet was definitely listening to something, her little crescent claws reached out to touch her mother's face. "Awk?" She asked, "Awk! Awk rark awk!"
It sounds like she's... singing? Silverstar thought. "I will call you Nightsong, little one" she said.
Soon it was time for Silverstar to leave, she put Nightsong in the cave.
Silverstar left, and she never came back. But why?
