Eddie's POV
After the incident at the quarry, Eddie had been thinking of how lucky he was to have Richie as a friend...... But then his thoughts took a turn. Some how, some way, something inside of Eddie clicked. It was that day that he started to have feelings for Richie. He sat and thought about Tozier's dorky, warm smile and it sent electricity right through him. All of a sudden he stopped smiling and started to cry. What would his mother think? What would his friends think? Most importantly, what would Richie think? "He will never take me! This will end our friendship! I hate myself!!!" Eddie screamed throwing himself on top of his bed. He banged his head against the wall very hard, several times. "Eddie? Eddie? What are you doing up there?" He heard his mother, Sonia Kaspbrak call from the stairwell. The huge woman was coming to check on her son. "Eddie?" She called one last time, as she pushed open his bedroom door. By then, he was sitting up, rubbing his eyes. "Nothing, Mom. I just took a quick nap." Eddie lied. "What was that dreadful banging?" She damanded. "You know that I kick in my sleep." He lied again, avoiding her gaze. "Okay, sweetie." She said, but her eyes still looked skeptical. She moved her massive body over to the bed. She sat down and the bed made a very loud groan of dissapproval. Eddie cringed with disgust. She leaned over and planted a sloppy wet kiss on his cheek. Inside, he threw up in his mouth. He gave a fake smile and she waddled out of his room, panting. He wiped off her kiss and layed back down, tears threatining to leak. He didn't know what to do. He didn't know what to think, either. The only thing he was sure of, was that he was in love.
