Levi tossed the offending pale against the wall. The wood nearly snapped at the harsh impact, spilling water everywhere in the empty room. It wasn't that the pale did anything personal to him, he was more mad at himself.

'Erwin will be fine. He always is. When he told me that he'd be traveling on the west side outside of the wall, he told me not to worry, that he'd be fine.' Levi was torn between jumping on his horse and making a break for where Erwin was supposed to be or trusting the commander's words before he left. One side of his brain almost yanked that stall open but when the other side replayed Erwin's words in his head, he distracted himself by grabbing the pale instead.

'Dammit.' Levi mentally swore, knowing fully well that anything Erwin said he took to heart. Part of him hates how he ended up putting all his trust into the missing man, and that he didn't realize until it was too late.

"Captain Levi, sir?" Christa appeared in the doorway, "are you okay? I heard a loud noise." She casted a side glance to the pale that laid on its side. Levi pushed his previous worries away for the moment and turned to look at the girl. He always wondered how she ended up on the scouts being a frail little thing but she had time to prove him wrongs. And in times like these, Levi hopes he's wrong about that assumption.

"Fine." He picked up the pale and passed it to her. "Fill that up with water and clean this room. Jaeger can't clean for shit."

"Yes, sir." Without another word, Levi walked down the hallway. He knew he had to busy himself somehow to distract him from his missing boyfriend. The only way he knew how to do that was cleaning but the rookies running around made it hard to do so in peace. For some reason, you put all the cadets in a room to clean and they end up gossiping about something that happened during their training at the garrison.

Levi had one advantage when it came to their conversations. The moment he enters the same room they're in, they'll quiet down. He intimidates the cadets, fellow scouts, townspeople, just about anyone.

He planned to never lose that power.

As he walked down the hall, someone ended up running into him as they exited one of the rooms. Just to his luck, it ended up being the one person he really doesn't want to deal with at the moment.

"Oh, Levi! I didn't see you there." Hange exclaimed and walked with him down the hallway.

Levi glared at her and said, "fuck off." She just laughed and continued to follow him.

He nearly intimidates everyone. Hange's...different. And that's a kind way to put it.

The word 'insane' appears in his head.

"What do you want?" He growled. Hange grinned at him and pulled out a bunch of papers and thrusted them at his face. Levi didn't flinch as the papers came close to his face and tore the paper out of her hands and scanned over them. He recognized the handwriting easily but couldn't make out the chicken scratch. There was a bunch of battle positions from what Levi could tell. Possibly a few key notes and group names.

"They're Erwin's plans. I thought I could get that smart kid Armin to make sense of them. The kids smart and I bet he'll be able to figure something out." Hange said. Levi gave her his normal blank look, "what? Maybe there's a way to figure out what Erwin's mission was all about and find out what happened to him."

Un-subconsciously, Levi clutched the notes in his hand. He didn't know whether to feel relieved that someone else was worried about the commander (not in the same way as him of course) or frustrated. Levi knew the exact reason why Erwin was out there, he knew what the goal was and what the outcome should've been. He's stared at these plans for hours on end when he couldn't sleep, trying to find where things could go wrong and he failed each time. Erwin always had amazing plans even if he regretted to tell people information. Most of the time that information would affect how people would react the the situation.

He's frustrated because he wants to get on his horse and go find his lover.

"Let me know if the brat knows anything." Levi shoved the papers back at her and hurried away from her. He glanced at the horizon through the windows.

'The sun should set in another hour.' he observed.

He can't wait for Erwin to show up alive, eyebrows and all. He could be dying with no way to get back and it would be on Levi for not acting quicker.

Levi's going to do it.

He's going to get Erwin and bring his ass back, alive or not.
